Okay, here's my theory on why the zombies/walkers didn't get taken down by the military.
1. They spread in rural areas that were isolated. The government only knew when they approached towns and infected dozens of people.
2. The military loses to many soldiers, and are unable to exterminate large hoards without explosives.
3. The government when to shit after a month or two.
4. The military betrays the government after they realize the situation is worse then normal.
The world isn't ready for giant T4 combustion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GbpGiYmBSs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKm9I really wonder what happens to other parts of the world in The Walking Dead series. Surely there's some "we do what we have to" minded people leading some countries to keep things together. And some less densely populated countries managing to take care of things too. And then the northern countries with long winters. It was already mentioned in the comics that the zombies slow down a lot during the winter.
Yeah, I'd really like to see how things are holding up outside of Georgia. The comics, TV show, and game all take place there, but what about other places? I'd settle to see other states.

You guys like Let's Plays? You guys like shameless plugs? Well, come on down!New York, Chicago, St Louis, Hollywood, Austin, and other large cities are fucked.
The world isn't ready for giant T4 combustion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GbpGiYmBSs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKm9Pretty much.
Though somehow Savannah was mildly okay. At least until Lee and company brought the horde through.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Oh, huh, I saw the original version of that haha
DumboAll right. I've got a stack of five five dollar bills ready to go.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I loved the Walking Dead, but Dishonored would have been my pick for GOTY. 2012 only had a few great games, with all the repetitive stuff going around.
Here's what I want for season 2:
1. Clementine at least getting mentioned.
2. It would begin 4 weeks after the outbreak.
3. I want to see a dead animal get eaten by a zombie.
4. More cannibals.
5. More decision making that has even more effects.
6. Rick Grimes appearing, somehow, somewhere.
7. The govener, though the one from the TV show seems somewhat more interesting for me.
8. You can change outfits if you find any laying around.
9. Cool music.
10. Longer episodes, more puzzles.
The world isn't ready for giant T4 combustion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GbpGiYmBSs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKm9I would rather have less puzzles. Episode one kinda showed that Telltale, or at least the team that worked on this game, aren't the best at them, and they kinda detracted from all the suspense and character interaction and emotional stuff.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Okay, better puzzles that aren't tedious.
On my first playthrough I made Lee say "shit" when in the barn, even though he was around Clementime. My reasoning? Shit is really no worse then crap, they mean the same thing. Plus Clem's got no social norms to follow now that the apocalypse happened.
The world isn't ready for giant T4 combustion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GbpGiYmBSs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKm9Technically, your other options were "manure" and just sort of dodging the name altogether. "Crap" wasn't available.

Text I feel is necessary to append to every post.I'd rather go off in a different direction and not have anymore cameo's with characters from the comics. In a game where anybody can die and it can often be something you didn't see coming, I didn't really care for having Glenn around, even though I like his character. Having a character take part in the game that you know isn't going to die kind of breaks me out of the sense of fear I have of all the other characters being killed and how I make decisions.
I bet there won't be. The only cameos were all in Episode 1, before it became Telltale's huge breakout hit........plus the whole Lilly thing was awkward.
DumboLilly could appear, the one from the game. She'd only appear if you had a save file from episode 2/3, or if you go through these questions asked in the main menu (that way everyone could experience the games options).
However, she likely got eaten by walkers out in the wilderness
The world isn't ready for giant T4 combustion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GbpGiYmBSs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKm9Yes, Kirkman ended up using Lilly from the comics in a novel and Telltale weren't told in advance so they changed the achievement that alluded to the connection. So now, yeah, they could have her in Season 2.
She was meant to have survived somehow even when she doesn't steal the RV, so I'm certain she'll be in 2, along with Molly, maybe even Vernon. Telltale weren't expecting a breakout hit with TWD, they'll want to have continuity where they can after killing off most of the characters.
(Before you say the story doesn't need them, the marketing department will want it. Clementine, Omid and Christa might not satisfy them. They'll want to market it as having as much continuation from 1 as possible.)
Also, they've said their Fables game is now being inspired by TWD. It was planned beforehand. I haven't read Fables, would a game like TWD suit it?

DumboI didn't notice this when I played, but when the Two Best Friends finished their playthrough, they noted that when it recaps your experiences with the different characters, it always says Kenny was "lost" instead of being dead. They think he could appear in season 2, but I'm not so sure.
You guys like Let's Plays? You guys like shameless plugs? Well, come on down!Likely, Telltale will do a decent job.
I want season 2 to have only a little continuity, not some direct sequel to season 1.
He'll work as a villain, but then he changes back to sane.
And he might have survived. I mean, the TV shows Governor survived getting trampled by 12 zombies in the latest episode.

The world isn't ready for giant T4 combustion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GbpGiYmBSs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKm9Telletale probably won't completely fumble the sequel.
A friendly flower, and your best friend. He has a knack for funny faces.x2 Dude. Spoiler tag that crap. Not everyone reading this thread has necessarily seen the newest episode of the show.
As for Kenny surviving... I really hope they don't do that. It would just feel really cheap and lazy. Kenny should stay dead.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Yeah, the dead should stay dead, and Lilly shouldn't come back. She's gonna be busy in Woodbury killing babies.
Averted in the TV show, she's nowhere to be found so far there.
I just kind of want the game to be new and in a different direction. I've already read the comics, I'm up to date on the TV show, let's go somewhere that isn't Georgia and leave the original cast behind. If all the characters are new, you don't assume anything about their life expectancy.
I think they're done with cameos from the comics, at the very least.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."And by new I mean either from the Telltale game or new for the second Season. I want to see Molly make a comeback, she was badass.
Kentucky or Connetticut sound good.
Kentucky because its similar to Georgia but very different.
Connectticut because its got lots of forest.

I like the No More Room In Hell explanation the best. Zombies are originally a supernatural creature, remember.
