Itou Hachi is a he?
Anyway, when it comes to Itou Hachi, I enjoy their one-shot the most. Mistress and Servant Yuri Book is a personal favorite. Spring, a Minuet is also lovely (though it's more like "Romantic" Two-Girl Friendship).

Where there's life, there's hope.I couldn't actually say either way, come to think of it. Hachi sounds kind of masculine to me so that's just the assumption I made.
It's been fun.Hachi literally means "8", that's why their twitter is "Itou8".
Where there's life, there's hope.I'm aware, yup. But as the name they're publishing under, that's simply the impression I got at first glance. I haven't looked into it in any detail.
It's been fun.Does this thread cover non-Japanese comics and visual novels?
Where there's life, there's hope.Well, I guess strictly speaking the title doesn't.
But I for one won't complain if you wanna talk about them here.
I feel like VN discussion is within the purview of the thread, and if the comic discussion reaches the point where it clogs up the thread we can just make another in the appropriate section,
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobI might be a bit late to this discussion, but I agree with , based on the fact that Film Diversity and Representation Thread is in the "Live Action Film" section of the forum, but does talk about things from other mediums, primarily live-action TV. So it should be fine.
Their Story Chapter 133!
Dammit Sun Jing if you didn't poison Qin Xiong or get Class President on the team, maybe you would havenot have been humiliated like this. And that Second High jerk just has to rub it in, though he is kinda sporty towards Xuezhang.
Chapter 134!
Sun Jing's pick up lines are timeless as ways, but it seems lime Qiu Tong isn't as embarrassed as before.
Where there's life, there's hope.I'm just glad that the basketball arc is over. Updates for Their Story are so infrequent that I forgot what the game was even for before it even started; hopefully now we can get back to Sun Jing and Qiu Tong being cuties.
It's been fun.Tatoe Todokanu Ito da to Shitemo. Only 6 chapters out yet (and the translation leaves to be desired on some parts).
Uta has a big brother named Reiichi, and that big brother had a childhood friend, the sweet Kaoru. Uta really loved Kaoru... but growing up she realized she loved her not just as a "big sis", but as a woman. Now Reiichi and Kaoru are happily married, and the high-schooler Uta lives with the newlywed couple, constantly reminded of her unrequited and most likely hopeless crush (who's quite the Cuddle Bug to boot). The only person who knows is Uta's Deadpan Snarker friend and confidant Chloé.
As you may have guessed, the tone is bittersweet as hell, but the drama is suprisingly subdued, and there's actually quite a bit of light comedy. I just don't see how any of this could end happily. The artstyle is not unlike Yagakimi, very uncluttered and reliant on small visual cues.

Yeah, that sounds like a recipe for pain on all fronts.
Edit: Reading some of it, I have no idea how things are gonna shake out here...?

It's been fun.I'm not too fond of "bittersweet" and "tragic" yuri works, since I found most of those to just be uninteresting and unpleasant to read. I tend to like more comedic works, or those that go with more "unique" premises (such as Murciélago, which is so full of bonker psychos that I can't help but enjoy it even if the gorn can be a bit off-putting at times).
I've mentioned before in the Personally-followed manga thread, but one yuri work I'm following at the moment is Seifuku no Vampiress Lord, a vampire yuri manga by the same mangaka who wrote Prunus Girl. Definitely on the light-hearted side (for now) and even though the vampire who turns the protagonist into a vampire is a guy, it's made clear she's not attracted to him (due to being a lesbian) and their interactions are hilarious. Definitely worth a read if you like vampires.

Ooh, that sounds really cute too.
So far it seems kind of oddly likely that things will work out in Tatoe, despite a premise that makes it sound obvious it wouldn't.
It's been fun.Yes, I love this one. Especially that poor classrep. I'd want to tease her to hell too if I was Yuunagi.
And about Tatoe I'd still tell you to give it a try, as it's more light-hearted than it sounds. Relatively.
Yeah, it's certainly not quite as 'hopeless despair porn' as the premise makes it sound, and there have been enough hints already in the six chapters that are out that A) the characters are aware of what's going on and B) might not be averse to talking the situation out instead of just shunning Uta.
Also, I need to check out that Seifuku one.
It's been fun.Seifuku no Vampire Lord is really nice. =) It's been a while since I've actually read any yuri manga, so I would be glad to get any other recommendations.
Also, I need to see where Seifuku is published. If it's in Yurihime Monthly then that's three series from that magazine I'll be following, and more than enough reason to buy it.
Edit: Nope, Gangan Comics Joker.

It's been fun.For comedic yuri manga, Inugami San To Nekoyama San is a personal favorite. One thing I like is the theme-naming they go with for the characters: the animals of the Zodiac + the cat.
Oh, and I heard that Aki apparently has/gets a girlfriend, though said girlfriend's name does not follow the zodiac theme-naming; instead, she's apparently named after Winter much like how Aki is named after Autumn. The manga hasn't been translated to that point yet though, so I'm not sure how accurate that is.

The anime generated some Bile Fascination in me, so I binged Netsuzou Trap's 20 chaps…
And fascinating it is indeed. Each of the four characters is grating in their own unique way, though Fujiwara probably takes the cake. Yeesh.
Oh yeah, I just bought the first and second volumes of Akuma no Riddle.
Where there's life, there's hope.So i just read a rather interesting original Yuri doujin called "Middle Schooler x Housewife" by Irua (Rosebud).
It contains three stories with a common theme being relationships between middle school girls and married women. Yeah, it's that kind of story but nothing NSFW so far. The author is planning to continue the doujin.
I'm the kind of person who is generally accepting of age gap (I really like Hoshikawa Ginza District 4 and Dear My Teacher) but middle school girls x married housewives is a bit much.
Where there's life, there's hope.Netsuzou Trap is a bad, problematic series that can only be enjoyed as an ironic belly laugh.
I'm checking out Hoshikawa Ginza Yonchoume. Interesting, this art looks familiar! The artist's name also looks familiar?
...oh
I read it awhile back, but why not discuss it here; Someday, We'll Get There's first chapter is adorable. It looks like it's setting up to be a Yuri Fighting Game manga; as in, two schoolgirls playing sets of NOT!Street Fighter at the arcade. One of them wants to be the best and the greatest at the video games, the other is a kind-of-ditzy daughter of a prizefighter with no dreams in particular. They hang out and get along, and it turns out the latter has raw natural reaction speeds that give her limitless potential, because this is a sports manga.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018The author also wrote Shoujo Sect.
Where there's life, there's hope.I am painfully aware of that. That's a manga that shakes up your world in your formative years, it does it does.

@Lyendith: Yeah, it gets... not really handwaved, but a lot of his works tend to open with a statement pointing out that marriage between all sexes is legal and isn't really commented on.
It's basically really cute slow-burn romance; it's kind of a plot point in volume 2 that Senri (the apothecary) hadn't really thought about kissing Chiyo until a friend of hers started goading her about it.
It's been fun.
