Actually I find the Trollcifer scenario hilarious.

They actually did attempt a spinoff, didn't they? With the Ghostfacers? It's even listed on Kripke's IM Db page.

Maybe they could do something with that Antichrist kid. It's one of the only subplots from the early seasons they didn't wrap up.

It was only a sort of spin off. It was a little web-series that they did which you can find the whole thing on... the S3 or S4 discs (I forgot which).

Of course why did the ghostfacers work and bloodlines didn't? Because we LIKED them.

Probably the best way I've seen that put.

I always assumed the reason an actual 'Ghostfacers' spin-off never happened was because of A.J. Beckley becoming a series regular on CSI: NY. Of course since that show bit the dust some time ago, they should take another stab at it.

To answer the werewolf question 4 pages back: Before a werewolf eats her first human heart, she can control her urges. Similarly, before a vampire has his first taste of human blood, he can be cured using the blood of the one who turned him.

Am I the only person who was really just kind of bugged in general by yesterday's episode? Especially after the quality episode we got for the mid-season finale, this last one just seemed . . . off.

I liked it. A reminder that the things the brothers hunt were once and might one day again be human. After callously stabbing their way through possessed people or potentially non-evil monsters, it's nice to see the human element come back into the show.

I'm surprised the worm produced offspring. Unless those eggs that Crowley dug out of Eve started hatching into random new species, since her corpse was still making them.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.

[up]That would be a good explanation for why the new Khan Worms were so different. And at the very least this wasn't flying in the face of canon, seeing as they acknowledged that these ones were not quite the same

[up][up]I agree that the reminder isn't a bad thing, although it could've been done a bit better.

I liked that episode. Actually, I enjoyed the last few episodes we've had, which hasn't happened in a while. Dean and Sam's initial insistence on killing that guy because that's the only way to deal with monsters did seem weird when they've both been monsters or possessed themselves, though.

They've always had a, "Figure out what we're dealing with, save them if we can," policy. It was kind of odd that they didn't explain that to Cole, putting more emphasis on the fact that they do sometimes have to kill. I mean, yeah, it was important to convey that to him, but they didn't explain that they typically don't kill first. Hell, they've let vampires walk if they think they're harmless.

I liked the simplicity of the episode. Just good ol' monster hunting.

I don't know why, but I think it was more middle of the road than good. Although I would still praise the hell out of the episodes preceding it.

So does anybody actually know what the monster is supposed to be next week? The preview was just a nun punching things, which doesn't tell much.

Note on the worms: They could still fit into canon being that they were imported from the mid-east, they might be a mid-east specific monster that was brought over to America here.

Actually the thought of a terrorists or a war where both sides started sending in their own local monsters after the other (like supernatural biological warfare) would be a very interesting arc.

Then again Carver can't even keep his own canon straight.

Ah, Supernatural. Whenever they don't know what to do with their plot, they kill off a side character.

I mean, they did it last year and the year before that and the year before that ad infinitum. The only people they won't kill off permanently are Sam, Dean, Castiel (because fans would revolt), and for some reason Crowley.

Eh, I dunno. Crowley's lookin' like he'll be murdered, and then Castiel, and then it's down to the bros.

I mean, Cain said it himself! And when has he ever been contradicted? You know, aside from himself.

[up][up][up] Oh, I have no doubt in my mind that Charlie will resurface. More than likely though as a ghost, the way Bobby has intermittently.

Judging by Felicia Day's IMDB profile, i'm guessing she's getting too busy on other shows to continue further appearances on Supernatural, hence the Mc-Leaning.
