Was Chie's route deliciously excellent?
I write pretty good fanfiction, sometimes.Eh....... Honestly, I didn't find it OMGWTFBBQ awesome. I guess it was decent and a lot different from Sarina's. I didn't like it so much because of Chie as because of the band's performance at the end. Also, I still think Sarina fits Shikanosuke better than the other two.
You know, I'm kind of amused by the fortune that You told Takeshi. Just think of how his routes turn out and what she said to him. If you don't remember, she said he had two paths open. One leads to a beautiful woman, happiness etc while the other leads to ruin.
Coco route and other spoilers: And true enough, Sora's route ends up with Takeshi definitely, surely dead while Tsugumi's could actually lead perfectly easily into the True End. I wonder if it was intentional?
Just finished the story of Chihiro and Renji in ef. I wasn't even aware there were bad ends, as I hadn't encountered one yet. When I did, much baaawing ensued.
And then, Baaawing ensued when I reached the good end, too. Damn you, minori, for making me cry. Again.
ShineHaha, I fell for that one too. Though I had gone back and tried something in the first route after actually choosing correctly.
Um, does reading the spoilers for Yume Miru Kusuri detract from the enjoyment of the game? Because I went right ahead and read them, and good Lord, Aeka.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Not really, it's pretty obvious early on that things are horrible.
That VN happens to be on my "to-play" list.
My FF.net account^^ Excellent. I'd hate to waste a torrent that's halfway through.
Also, re-playing Ever17... untranslated. Some of it, I can read. For everything else, there's always the dictionary.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...I never finished the one girl's route. I can't even remember her name, the rich one.
Well, I'm finished with Ever17. And I have to say, that last route is pretty freaking awesome. I knew I should have liveblogged it. For a while there you would have had a post every ten minutes with me going WTF?!?!?!?! and accompanied by some more speculation.
I still don't know exactly what was going on with the life form counter though.
Anyways, now I'm obligated to nitpick. Just keep in mind that I still think it's awesome.
Takeshi jumping out of the sub would only serve to make it sink faster, because he replaced more than his body weight with the weight of all the water that's trapped in the airlock now.
Why, in the epilogue, was Tsugumi the only one covered up in the sun? Almost everyone else was infected with the Cure virus too.

The airlock doesn't reclose. Just makes the sub a smaller bubble. As for Tsugumi, she has a more complete form of Cure than anyone else. Takeshi, Kaburaki and You'Haru can't, though Takeshi might eventually. With this kind of logic, it's reasonable to assume that she's the only one particularly sensitive to sunlight.
Also, am I the only one who upon hearing about what Cure does instantly thought 'vampire?'
Takeshi did close the airlock door. I took particular care to notice that. And I'm not sure it would make a difference anyways. Also, I find it hard to believe that the incomplete form of Cure would make them stop aging but conveniently leave out the vulnerability to cancer since both effects stem from the same source.
I thought vampire too.

He closed the door between him and Tsugumi. How did he manage to close the other when the pressurized air jettisoned him out of the sub? I'm sticking with 'Tsugumi is just special' for the other thing, though. It's not like Cure really makes any sense.
He swam back and closed it. It didn't jettison him very far.

Well, whatever. I don't really are either way. It's a Diabolus ex Machina anyway.
I was kind of miffed about that airlock thing too. I didn't care much though since it was good drama. Same thing with Cure. Also, the part with the kick the can is never explained. Kinda annoyed me since that's a big loose end.

The kick the can thing was slightly annoying, yes. And you know, I have to say. Why doesn't Tsugumi just give Lieblich like ten blood samples, they all infect themselves and use that to further their research? Apart from being chased by Lieblich and the oh so horrible recovery from nasty wounds Tsugumi talks about, it just doesn't seem that bad. Nor really terrible to pursue it.
I don't think Leiblich would be particularly nice about Cure. They'd probably just be evil, like usual.
I write pretty good fanfiction, sometimes.Honestly, I'm blaming Who Wants to Live Forever?. It makes sense from that angle. Plus, there's the fact that Tsugumi's blood isn't always reliable. It's stated to have a reasonable chance of killing someone. Also, after enough time, people with the Cure virus would become almost full-carriers, and would then need extreme UV protection. And I don't think Leiblich was aiming to make a race of Mole People.
I write pretty good fanfiction, sometimes. She never expressed any problems with not growing older. Maybe she'll have some in 70 years when her kids get old and die.
Wait, fridge logic. What happens to any kids between Tsugumi and Takeshi with Cure instead of the normal human he was?
I assume they'll be infants forever. Or else conception itself would be impossible.
Yeah, impossible conception is what I'm thinking. So there, a reason why everyone having cure would be bad. You could only get it after you're done having kids.
The upbeat attitude of everyone made more sense to me after I was completely finished with Coco's route.
