Load some APCR into the D-25T like I did with the KV-4 until I got the ZiS-24 and use that when you aren't bullying lower-tier tanks and don't have a flank shot. It'll get you somewhere around the same pen as your good gun's AP and make the grind much more bearable.
Either way, trying to snipe with the D-25T will only end in tears and stop doing it.

Sigh. Why not do the thing you did with your IS-2? Same gun, same speed.

To be fair, trying to snipe with the 122mm is an exercise in futility, after several updates worth of sigma adjustments to accuracy.
x2: I never made it that far in the Chinese tree, I'm stuck on the Type T-34.
But then again, I don't play mediums that often.
To me, the accuracy isn't that bad, since I can get away with sniping in my E 75 a few patches ago (although the hard part is dealing with 1 hit by E 100 or another Tier X = 1/3 hp = why I snipe to farm exp).

Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakSo? USSR IS is the same tank as the Chinese IS-2 except for having a stepped glacis instead of a one-piece, single-slope glacis (they're both IS-2s), and you got through that.

IS-3's best as a brawler, but the question is who you're brawling against. If you're top-tier, go fight the other heavies. If not, go bully the mediums. Second-stringing it will leave you with nothing but mediocre shots at your opponents' best armor as they pop out of cover on their own terms, problematic enough when you're top-tier.
T Ds do it because they have the guns to get away with it, as do some of the German heavies.
Side-scrape. Bait them into shooting your angled, spaced side armor or tracks. Don't poke around corners nose-first unless you're willing to eat a hit; your nose is very well angled, but only so long as it's pointed straight at them. Your guns are inaccurate and while stock you have lackluster pen.
Stay with your team. Whatever flank you go down, do so as a group. Being alone gets you singled out and focused down.
Should've checked the list.So I fired up the hazmat vault that is my You Tube channel in this is what I got...
I think this is an new record for me unintentionally dying in a heavy tank...
And here's the rest of today's grinding...

As usual, I'm asking on how good the stock IS-3 is.
One says it's shit without the BL-9
The other thinks that I'm spreading cancer again.

Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakIs 3 is a pretty good tank once upgraded. Can confirm is ass while stock.
Don't try to angle is the big rule
I'm baaaaaaackThen again, what isn't ass when stock?
Speaking of stock things, is the PS 4 version a port of the Xbox 360 version, a port of the PC version, or something separate from both of those?
And now for the Kaymarx Kibitz! Spoiler tags for people that don't like insufferable know-it-alls.
Your big problem in the embedded replay is that you stopped in the open. Taking that much time to try and figure out you had a shot made you easy pickings, coupled with the fact that you backed up instead of going forward once you started coming under fire just kept you in the open and under their guns for longer.
Now considering you were a stock tier-8 heavy in a tier-10 game, your effect on the game's outcome probably would've been limited anyway, but your best play in that scenario would probably have been to push to the side of the lighthouse hill and then focus to the right to try and catch mediums pushing around the outside of the middle's big rock. The stock gun's almost certainly not up to the task of fighting tier-10 heavies, so don't bother. Help the meds win their fight, and then see if you can do something about the rest.

Should've checked the list.Best bet with under-tier heavies is usually to pretend you're a medium with a weight problem.
I'm baaaaaaackCome to think of it, nearly anything that isn't an SPG and is above Tier 6 qualifies as self-inflicted torture when their stock.
In other news, there's an login bonus of 10 Gold everyday until Jan. 15th.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakSince I've been away from Wo T for awhile, does anyone know what the gimmick behind the new Czech tanks is? They all seem to kinda suck so far, or just be inferior rip-offs of German and Soviet tanks.
Well, part of that is because some of the German tanks are, in fact, Czech tanks that were captured or still produced after Czechoslovakia was conquered.
Yeah technically they aren't rip-offs as they're the actual tanks, either they're the original makers, or they were given (most of the Soviets). If you're looking for rip-offs, it's the tech tree of another country that starts with C.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over....Canada?
Well, the RAM II is a derivative of the Lee.
Czech tree seems to focus (later on) on high-mobility, paper-armored mediums with low-capacity but fast-cycling autoloaders. It's kinda like a tech tree of tier-appropriate Chi-Ri's, but less fuck-huge.
Should've checked the list.The CCCP?
I'm baaaaaaackSo, PS 4 WOT is out now. Dig the botmatches, but I'm wondering if nations other than Germany, USSR, and USA are in and locked by the tutorial, or are not in, save for as bots in botmatches.
On the upside, no waffletraktors higher than Marder 38(t). But the T18 and T82 are still TDs and the T57 is still an SPG.
UGH, Komarin still exists.

I'm baaaaaaackWargaming's CEO, Victor Kislyi, now has the estimated value of over $1 billion USD.
I guess us American whales are keeping him afloat...
God help me, I'm thinking of returning to this game and its unflushed toilet of a player base. The new patch sounds pretty fun, I'm tempted to try the Japanese super-heavy line, and I want the Souma S35. Hell, the default minimap now displays your vision range, so maybe I can live with its bullshit spotting system.
By any chance, did they kill the "see your team's records so you can scream at them" mod?
EDIT:
First battle back, destroyed by invisible enemies without accomplishing anything. Huzzah.

In my defense; it's stock, I can only get it to run 20 km/h off-road, and the BL-9 costs 40K exp to unlock. What other options do I have besides leeching off my team, spamming KV-1 fights to farm free xp, and cherrypicking damage while hiding behind our TD?
