Ah that's a shame.
I'm baaaaaaackNot me. Though in the past few days I have made good progress in getting out of my Lee. However I am torn between the Heavy Line US and the Medium Line US. I am not grinding out another 14k to unlock both on the Lee.
Who watches the watchmen? You can technically reach the heavy line from the med line because you can research the T29 from the M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo, but it's not recommended as you won't have the 90mm gun for it — it'll make the grind a hell lot harder.

The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundI will go that route regardless. I want the shermans and the T29 but the other two heavies haven't impressed me much.
From what I've heard, the T1 and M6 are large mediums with heavy guns.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundAnd surprisingly bouncy frontal armour, though less so for the M6 because it's higher-tier. They're decent tanks, provided you don't mind flanking a little more than is normal for a heavy.
What's precedent ever done for us?They certainly lack armor. I found them to be some of the least threatening heavies. The T29 on the other hand...
The T1 is great and the M6 isn't that bad. Drop the top engine in and Bob's your uncle.
That, and you'll NEED that 90mm from the M6, or else you're stuck with the 76mm on the T29... which is groan-inducing by all measures.
Hmm sounds like I am heading for the T1 then. I can adapt. Once I have the T1 it will be back to working on the Churchill I and the Grinding out the AMX 40 for the next tank.
Who watches the watchmen?Yea t1 isn't bad.
I'm baaaaaaackThe T1 has two main weaknesses: weak alpha and bad side armor. Its main strengths are that it's quite nimble, especially with the upgraded engines, has good frontal armor, good DPM, good pen, has good gun depression, and due to the fact that it has a hella powerful engine (960 horsepower), has thick frontal armor, and weighs nearly 59 tonnes, it's quite potent as a ramming vehicle.
So basically, the main things you don't want to do is let yourself get flanked or get into a peek-a-boom scenario. When you're on top, you usually have enough armor to do the heavy tank thing to all the smaller tanks and enough speed to bring the fight to them if they try to run. When you're on the bottom, you're agile enough to roll with the mediums in flanking maneuvers.
By the way, when I say the T1 and M6 have good engines, I mean that their engines are so powerful that they've got better HP/tonnage than the M4 despite being such heavy vehicles (about 16.4 hp/ton vs about 15.3 hp/ton)
Ok cool. I will keep that mind when I get it. By alpha do you mean the baseline tank or something else?
Who watches the watchmen?By alpha, I mean damage per shot (so the KV-1S and KV-2 would be examples of tanks with high alpha). The T1 doesn't pack the most impressive wallop, but it shoots pretty damn fast.
Ahh. I should have known. I was thinking something like a reference to "Alpha Strike" at first.

Who watches the watchmen?About to start the 9.3 update.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.I decided to have one last game in my KV-1S.
Because I have the worst luck in creation, I'm bottom tier, first one killed because the enemy team reached the center of the map before everyone on my team and had perfect unerring knowledge of my position and hit the engine and set me on fire in the first hit. And I was beside the damn scout no less, he didn't see any of them until they blew me to pieces.
We won. Jesus Christ this game...

"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Just sayin', you don't need to use the M6 to start the T29 with the 90mm. I used one of the tier-6 Shermans to unlock the T20 first, unlocked the 90mm M3 on it, and then took it from there to the T29.
Shermans, for those unaware, are where it's at.
Should've checked the list.Yay, that's good news.
Shermans are good. I love the Cromwell though
I'm baaaaaaack@Ernie: That's my plan, because I already have both of the tier 6 Shermans and I am not going back to the Lee again.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundhah, i beat the system!
I can't play tanks at college but i was able to update it there! More time for tanks at home
I'm baaaaaaackEh, the Lee's not that bad and the T1 and M6 are actually good. Hell, after the KV-1S split, the M6 is probably also the fastest tier 6 heavy.
Seriously, even if you don't like the Lee, give the T1 a crack, since it's also a good credit maker.
Data Vampires are in full force today. My update was off to a good start 2 hour ago and now it's crawling at a very slow rate: now I'm at 646.02 MB and counting.
So I've hear that I that War Gaming released a new series of easy-to-earn medals! Now, we'll have more Chest of Medals players than ever! And I thought I was the trope with my 100 or so Master Gunners and Sharpshooters...
