My thoughts exactly.
Pretty much what I expected, given the names in the transcript.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."So, today's post was the author saying he feels like he's running out of ideas...this doesn't bode well.
Hi guys. New fan of this webcomic here. I hope to enjoy my time here. My favorite strips so far are, in no particular order:
- Sandra and Cloud's first kiss and the strips leading up to them (i.e. Cloud's Big Damn Heroes CMOA to save Woo's hide from the wolf).
- Cloud writing and giving that poem to Sandra, followed by her reaction to it.
- Larisa and Landon getting together, and the later strip where they're walking through the park (oh, and Ivan earned points with his advice to Landon in the preceding strip).
- Larisa and co. pooling their resources together to fix up Luna's apartment and ensure she and her father can live a decent livelihood from now on. I mean, Larisa even sold her flamethrower to do it!
Be sure to check out Gaia, the author's other webcomic. I personally think it's their better work.

... I am torn between rolling on the floor while laughing my ass off and holding my sides, and excitedly clapping in amazement.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Well now... I guess we've finally know what killed the dinosaurs.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I'll admit that I don't quite get the "diet" plotline here.
I think it's supposed to be playing on the dissonance of a squirrel god being a meat-eater, plus the humor to be mined from her trying to limit herself to the kinds of prey that a normal hunting animal would find easy pickings and suffering for it. Today's installment was the only one from this story that I've gotten any kinda of laughs from, and it's more about the...rather suggestive goings-on in that last panel (plus the one kid coon peeking through Mom's fingers).
... Since when was Ruth a squirrel god?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Hmmmm...going back to this one, when the animal pantheon started becoming the focal point of the strips, I was operating on the assumption that Ruth was one for squirrels, especially given the pale coloration both she and raccoon-god-whose-name-sounds-like-a-Chipotle-dish have, Woo and Lily praying for help for Sirius, and their particular god was still needing to catch up her prayers. I'm probably wrong, but that's how it looked.

Well, that kind of explains this interlude. There's another part after that where they get more meta about the falling readership.
Say, why are Zoey, Michelle, Landon, and Yuna listed as main characters on Characters.Sandra And Woo when they've been pretty infrequent in their appearances over the course of this webcomic's run? They only appeared in a paltry 28, 16, 38 and 47 strips respectively, out of a total 797 strips as of the currently most recent comic's release on June 23, 2016. Compare that to Sandra (exactly 400 strips as of strip #797), Woo (331 strips), Larisa (218 strips), and Cloud (a "mere" 177 strips... which is surprisingly low IMO, given how he seemed nigh-omnipresent to me during my Archive Binge of the webcomic).

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I see your point, but I'm not really sure how to reorganize it.
Today's was the first one that I've genuinely laughed at in a while.
Well, you could group the first three together with Luna from the Other Characters category into their own "Classmates of Main Characters" category, and rename "Parents" to "Families/Relatives of Main Characters" and put Yuna in there.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Since nobody seems to have any objections, I've reorganized the character page.
On a different note, I've been reading the YMMV subpage, and this Moral Event Horizon entry about Landon's mom confused me: "(...) and the next thing we knew about her was that she and Landon's father got a divorce and Landon no longer lives with her."
When did that happen?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I see a mention of the divorce here.
... Oh, I guess that passing mention was overshadowed by the real topic of the strip — namely, Sandra chiding Larisa over seemingly not caring for the nationwide scandal she caused, and Larisa dropping the whammy reveal of her terminal illness and its effect of drastically reducing her maximum lifespan to around a mere two decades.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. On that note...is anyone else at the point of reading S&W just to see if anything really develops with Larisa's illness? Not that I want her to suffer, but now that that reveal's been made, it just seems like it's been brushed aside in favor of...well, nonsense.
Well, a development on that issue would logically require ageing up the characters by a few years, i.e. a Time Skip. I don't see how that is going to happen.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
Ancient homicidal gods apparently taste like very old chicken
Not a fan of this storyline. Glad that it looks to be largely wrapped up.
