If Littlefinger won, due to think his actions might make him one of the most evil, supervillain characters in the story? The idea of him manipulating the grain and the wars he's causing suggests he would have most of Westeros die if it means he rules over what's left. That's some "Mad King burns them all" level shit that'd make Ramsay seem like a kitten
Euron is the supervillain, making both Ramsay and Littlefinger look like children playing a petty game of chess. If Littlefinger would rule over a decimated population, Euron would rule over ashes and walking corpses.
Littlefinger is so ingrained into the political it burns. He'd have no idea what to do with an Other, or a dragon. None of which care about his little games and schemes.

Victarion, Euron, Littlefinger, Ramsay, The Mountain, Vargo Hoat, Tywin, Cersei, Joffrey and Rorge are all locked in a house together for a month.
What happens?
(Also I kind of want to read a story where all the super-villains save the world while the heroes fight each other. Imagine if all the above were the heroes of the War for the Dawn.)
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Euron, like every pathetic Ironborn who hasn't figured out that the "traditional lifestyle" is completely untenable, is a joke. The only thing that makes him dangerous is his access to magic stuff that might mean he'll take down a lot of people with him, but there's no win condition for him.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"Euron doesn't give two figs about the traditional Ironborn lifestyle. He seems to actually have a large amount of disdain for them, and is only using his people so he can try (TWOW spoilers) to ascend to godhood. I agree he is pathetic in a lot of ways, but he is really dangerous.

Euron's win condition is the same as Littlefinger's.
MORE!
Or in the immortal words of Showfinger:
ONLY THE LADDAH IS REAL! THE CLIMB IS ALL THERE IS!
Also this.

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."I'm still far from sure how much of the "Euron has super powerful magic and will totes wake dragons/krakens/somethings and become a god" is actually supported in the text as anything but pure charlatanry, as opposed to just fanwank.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I highly doubt that most of the stuff Euron has will do what he says it does. That horn might be magical, but I doubt it can either control dragons or bring down the Wall.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I feel like most of what has been discussed about ASOIAF over the last eighteen years has been non-stop fanwank. I cringe every time I see a Brynden B Fish essay these days, knowing that a human being has again devoted five thousand words to a well-worn subject. Like, my continued interest in TWOW's development and writing is the knowledge that most if not all of the sundry theories will be debunked and the cottage industry of essays will take a short vacation while the speculators spend time reading the text. Then the process begins anew.

"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."
The Others seem convinced that it'll bring down the Wall, hence someone hiding it and the Others chasing down Sam to get it.
I don't think he'll get a kraken or anything. I do think he'll sacrifice his entire army and fleet and turn them into wrights, because it'll throw "what is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger" back into the Ironborn's faces.
At the very least, Euron will fail. But it is hard to call it fanwank when it is what the characters say they plan to do.

I could see being skeptical of Sam's horn being the horn of winter. Although there has been no other method of taking down the Wall so I would think that means the Horn of Winter is going to eventually be used.
But I don't understand what the point of using Dragonbinder as a red herring would accomplish.
And I mean TWOW's cover is a horn.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Given the state of the franchise I can't really blame people for coming up with crackpot theories. What else is there to do? We've had no new content for seven years now and at this point I think a lot of people are starting to doubt we ever will.
I remember Dance With Dragons came out in my senior year of high school.
I've graduated college for nearly a year in the time it's taken for a new book to come out.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I started the series with AFFC being the newest book, when I was 15. I'm 27, now. :D
Still blows my mind that GRRM has been cooking up this series since 1996.

"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."I wasn't even in grade school when he began. I get that genius takes time but come on. Twenty plus years with no end in sight is kind of ridiculous.

"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."I mean I guess it's something. I feel like it's going to be pretty incomplete though unless George is willing to spoil the Dunk and Egg stories.
This only goes up to the end of Aegon III.
Apparently, Aegon III's reign only got 3,000 words in the TWOIAF but GRRM wrote 60,000 words on it.
Aegon III's reign is one of the interesting periods to me besides Aegon V and Viserys I's reign. It's got my favorite ASOIAF historical character as one of the more important figures during the time. The Oakenfist.

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."But we already know this stuff. I guess we'll get a bit more context for some things but the main points of most Targaryen reigns are covered in TWOIAF. It's not like the Third Blackfyre Rebellion where the book says we know this story already and glosses over it entirely.
Speaking about Euron. Is there possibility for him to be [spoiler: stabbed like Madara Uchiha]?
PS Am i the only who see Little Walder as potential Adaptional Comic Relief?
Sure, it's possible.
But it would have to be an Other that does it if you want to make it that anti-climatic and it would have to be in a middle of a dragon-fight with Daenerys to get it down exactly.

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."I want that. Euron getting killed for a random Other in middle of his dragon rider fight
Watch me destroying my countryI could see him crawling to the Others for help, only for them to laugh and kill him, combined with the Others thinking a little bit of "who is this guy again?"
Alternatively, he is defeated, and then tries to go back to the Ironborn he betrayed and sacrificed. Who then, y'know, kill him like the hyenas killed Scar. Or hell; Victarion survives and catches up to him. Vic maybe be dumb as hell, but he can kill Euron, especially after the latter runs out of tricks.
