The OVA is out! Discuss! (It's largely fanservice. Discuss that.)
The only real question I have about this OVA is when it's set. Seems like before the final space battle, but after almost everything else... but I can't think of a time period when that would fit in. If it's set after the series, then I guess the girls are just nervy - and, you know, Alicia and her maids, not to mention Ichika, are around.
But hey, nice to see the crew again. In various ways.
Also: I have to say, the big thing during the janken scene (no, not that) was a rather big surprise for me. Ichika's a Catian?! Huh, did not see that coming.
Also (and more importantly): There will be more!

Not quite. I haven't watched much anime for a while now,so I feel vaguely guilty about your announcement; when I look back over my old posts,seeing how much I liked it,then feel little desire today to sit down and watch any anime - guilt. Like I've lost the faith. Hence the :-/.

There may be a second season, actually. There's a special video bundled with the OVA that may or may not be an ad for episodes next season (it's unsubbed, and I was tired when I watched it; didn't get much out of it) and there is a preview sort of thing at the end of the OVA. It's based off a light novel series, so it's not like there's nothing else to adapt.
It's been fun.
That was funnier than I expected. Pity that Aoi didn't have too many speaking lines.

This anime is beautiful beyond words. It's now easily one of my favorite anime series. Why did it only get one season? Why couldn't it had continued on? I know I can always read the manga (and I plan to) but the anime was so purfect and FU Nimation's dub was especially so.
I have to say that the noise Eris made when she tasted ice cream is the single most adorable sound I have ever heard (and I've heard plenty of adorable sounds before).
