^ To avoid confusion, shouldn't some of the winners be listed as "Growlithe/Arcanine", "Shinx/Luxio/Luxray", "Trapinch/Vibrava/Flygon", etc? I mean, those times it was entire evolution lines; only in this round are we switching to individual Pokemon.

Hello everyone and welcome to Pokémon: The Elimination Game. For anyone who's a little out of the loop, we decided to move our Pokémon-related fun and games from our former location under Video Game discussions to a board where we would fit in a little better with our fellow topics. For anyone who contributed to the 1200+ posts on the old thread
, the rules should be very familiar. For everyone else, you basically need to keep 5 things in mind:
As the founder/moderator/whatever guy, I reserve the right to start (and if necessary, abort) official rounds (ex. Round (insert integer here)), but you are more than welcome to start your own unofficial or bonus rounds in between as long as they are short (if there's over 10 things to eliminate, I'll probably kill it) and tasteful (self-explanatory), if I think they're awesome enough, I'll consider promoting them to be official rounds (with appropriate credit). You are also free to suggest topics for official rounds or leave commentary about rounds anytime you wish on your posts. This being Pokémon and the kafriggin' huge franchise that it is, we'll probably be around here for quite a while.

EDIT 2: Started keeping track of points so that way you can get an idea of how close or lopsided different rounds were.
EDIT 3: Added a link to the current round for new users.
EDIT 4: Added templates to allow for more obvious breaks between sections.
EDIT 5: Made the rules easier to read for new/prospective players.
EDIT 6: Added links to the first and results post of every round in this game to make archive binging less of a chore...
