What age are we considering adult? 18? 21? 25?
I'm 24. Do you have an actual topic of conversation in mind, or do you think one will spontaneously appear when we get enough geezers together?
I didn't write any of that. What is this thread about, exactly?
Feedback Of Heteronormative Gender Stereotypes in AnimeWell, I am above 17, and I've always wanted to be a crotchety old hag...
For anyone who hasn't been following Troper Updates, this is the line of conversation that led to the creation of this thread.
So what is this thread about? The exclusion of immature people, as best I can tell.
I didn't write any of that.I'm 21. How old are we talking about? Because I get the feeling that there'll still be a lot of people posting in this thread if you set the cutoff at 21.
Maybe set it at 30, eh?
Feedback Of Heteronormative Gender Stereotypes in AnimeI'm 19. Should I go?
Some writing.I don't like kids on my lawn. Do I count?
"They wanted to play 'memes' with the Old School. Now there are tears." - Fast EddieIt is about people who want to pretend they are over 17 and have something to say.
Both of those things.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyNo offense, but it helps to have a topic.
I will keep my soul in a place out of sight, Far off, where the pulse of it is not heard. No, this is intended to be natter thread for people of a certain age. Natter doesn't need a topic. No one has to pretend they are interested in anything they are not really interested in.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyThere's something wonderful cooking on the stove. Since I'm just visiting, I can only guess at what was used for spicing.
By smell, I'm betting at least part of it's cayenne and chocolate.
And so I was reborn... and no-one noticed anything had changed. We've created topics within topics before.
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.I would like to make a statement: I am not interested in yo-yo craftsmanship techniques, or the reproductive habits of small, flightless birds.

I like doodling on my class notes.
Some writing. We're closing in on it. The "wanting to pretend" thing is coming in strong. The "something to say" thing is lagging.
We'll get there.

Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyIsn't 18 a bit low? How many tropers are gonna get left out of this? five? It would be just like another "random conversation thread" but without Made Of Meat and Tze Tze to creep us out...
... maybe it's not such a bad idea after all.
I don't need to pretend. Or do we wish we had to?
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.Seriously, people. Spiced chocolate. Try it sometime.
And so I was reborn... and no-one noticed anything had changed.I do. In fact, I collected them when I was a kid.
They're like collectible cards except with more suck.

Did you guys ever have to write a letter to your future self in elementary school? A friend of mine found his a while back, in one of those big brown envelopes. The letter said something like, "I'm supposed to write a letter, but I don't know what to say, so I'll just give you these. Maybe they'll be useful." The envelope was full of pogs.
I did at the end of high school. I couldn't think of anything good and that didn't have a chance of coming back to bite me when I received it, so I drew two swordfighting monkeys on the paper and stuck it in the envelope. Fail-proof.
Some writing.I wrote one last year to be mailed to me when I graduate from HS, and another a few months ago. Redundant teachers are redundant.

Not "Ooh, let's talk about porn and fetishes." Actual adults. Bring your IQ.
