The Strange Case of the Missing Ads

Someone should do research as to what sorts of adult content (Gag Boobs etc) Google Ads DO allow. Just see what kinds of sites do and don't have Google ads. Or does it not work that way?

Along with the donation drive idea, I think we should put a notice concerning the site's need for money on the home page or anywhere noticeable on the site. I recall gh.ffshrine.org still has such a message on every download link.

@Mario: I think the problem there lies not so much with the creator but the fact that the poster itself is a direct re-texting of The Expendables.

On that note, UM consists mostly of old nerds, so I guess I can grovel there.

I had a thought the other night (I just spent a minute jumping up and down trying to remember it). I think it was "Posters". Trope related merchandise- the ideas were hard but a poster like format means you could have a poster for a trope and then it's large enough to have a title and some text and explanation and one big catchy image in the middle.

I trust that David Morgan-Mar (Irregular Webcomic, Darths and droids, mezzacotta) shall pledge his support to us, as we'e done the same for him.

IMO, we probably need to just do a global site lockdown and then slowly check pages for "responsible content" or what-have-you, just so you don't end up going into debt over this sort of thing. Yeesh.

Arks, I think that the Paypal account was originally set up when there was someone going to make imprinted mugs for the site. That didn't pan out.

Fast Eddie is not going tobe around for a while. He's busy trying to set stuff up to deal with the move. Assume the move is going to happen. The secondary site will still need to be supported. And this site will still need support.
