Are you certain it's not tinnitus? Or something causing it?
Or is it like an almost gurgling sounding crinkling? Because that usually shows up in times of sickness such as influenza or the common cold.
Well, I looked up tinnitus, but that's defined as a ringing noise. This sounds more like a paper bag in my ear and I can feel it to an extent.
I don't have any disease symptoms that don't come with my usual Autumn allergies.
It might be an ear infection also.
Whatever it is, it's not normal and not supposed to be doing that.
I suggest the possibility of seeing a doctor.
I'll ask my grandfather first. He probably won't have his doctor's tools on him, but my doctor works an hour away from where I live.
That should be enough to give me an idea of where to go.
Occasionally I'll here a sound like a rocky bits of sand bouncing around when I've been up for a few days.
I suppose that's pretty similar to a crinkle. Have you tried getting more sleep?

| DA Page | Sketchbook |Benedryl. But yeah, see a doctor assuming you're able to do so. I've had ear problems for a while now, but am uninsured. /health-insurance derail

In all honesty, I'm getting too much sleep. Granted, I do occasionally have my bouts of sleeplessness, but the two things don't appear to be connected.
It's not a ringing sound that comes out of nowhere. It's a crinkling sound that happens whenever something touches my right ear. It's been around for a few months and I find it incredibly agitating, because I work in a call centre.
I know it's not a fluid buildup, because I just had one of those cleared out of my left ear and this sound is different.
Any suggestions as to what it might be or how to stop the sound?
