I love this game. Special mention goes to Another Day.
I wish there was a pacrical way to see all the Impossibly Cool Clothes the characters wear on them. Especially the thought of making Beat a Cross Dresser

The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Whoever localized this game deserves free blowjobs for life.
It is awesome. I fucking love Sho Minamimoto. I can't go to math class without giggling at INVERSE MATRIX and SINE COSINE TANGENT now.
Chances are, I'm not actually wearing any pants right now. Some older horses always hear their owners approach.
YES.
This game is friggin' awesome. And Neku rocks.
There is not a single character in the game that I dislike. Not one.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Trudat.
I know right? No amount of obnoxiousness or cruelness ruins these characters for me. And the music is fantastic. And the art style. And the gameplay. This game is without a doubt the japanese-iest thing I've ever liked so much, and it's even better for it.
Well, I do kind of want to punch Konishi in the face. But she's a villain, so that's an acceptable feeling for her to evoke. I have no complaints about her as a character.
The thing about TWEWY is how it reminds me that despite the differences modern societies really aren't that different. I didn't feel a twinge of Values Dissonance at any point beucase teenagers in Japan are pretty much the same as teenagers in America.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Albeit richer, going by the game. And they consider ramen a treat rather than the only recourse when you've spent all the rest of your money on alcohol.
I am, of course, aware that Japanese teenagers aren't actually richer than American teenagers, but Shibuya's a pretty upscale neighborhood.

^^^ Well, I'm guessing that Japanese ramen places have better ramen than the store-bought instant stuff college students get.
I'm partial to the idea of TWEWii

I have a message from another time...Also when you combine Noise fights with real world pricing patterns somethings got to give.
EDIT: I preferred TWE Wii too but it looks like the next game might be for the 3DS so I'm being safe here.

^^ Well, most of the economy isn't fighting noise, so I doubt that's much of an issue. Also, I thought his ramen looked pretty good.
^ Ripple what now?

Yeah but very simple considering the part of town he set up shop in.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing. Also, who here adores the fighting system? I love coming up with new attack ideas.
Like, this one deck, I finally found a use for the Over The Top Set. Cornix + Spider's Silk = NEVERENDING HAIL OF STONES!
I have a message from another time...I remember two attempts at a TWEWY roleplay. They died ironically.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.@spasticgecko: I was referencing a Dave Barry line. He was talking about poor people in France drinking Ripple, a brand of low-end fortified wine, and quipped in the footnotes: "I'm joking. French people don't drink Ripple. They wouldn't give their dogs Ripple."

I dunno if the Wii would be able to that kind of high-speed action, and I don't think the Wiimote is nearly as accurate as the DS's stylus.
Which is probably why more recent accounts are leaning for a 3DS TWEWY.

Becuase gosh damn it its been mentioned like 20X on the JRPG thread almost always as a positive example. Let this be a place to talk about how awesome TWEWY is. And desperately wait for Sqaure Enix to start working on The World Ends With TWO.
