It's still better than the Danganronpa anime, at least.
Then again, that's not saying much.
To be fair, some of the cases dragged.
Can you imagine trying to do the full dialogue of Case 1-4? Objections would be comparable to charging up a spirit ball
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I just finished the Ace Attorney trilogy. Just wow. Best game I have ever played, the memories of all the cases will stay forever with me (especially 1-2, which was both sad, especially when you think about Maya, and heartwarming, due to the fact that Mia will always be there).
Life is unfair...At the same time, Case 1-4 is one of the most beloved in the entire series so they should probably take great care when adapting it.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I find it amusing that Redd is terrible at both English and Japanese
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. So, I gave a watch of the first episode. Outside of the needlessly over the top objection I thought it was pretty good.
Animation is decent enough, even if it looks like they whole sale copied sprites. The court could do with a good bit less blatant 3d. Larry is exactly as he should be though, and I appreciate that.

Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. There is no such thing.
You say that as if it's a bad thing.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Watched today's episode after forgetting about it. That intro was pretty cool since we got to see what the Steel Samurai show actually looked like. That fact that most of the first day of investigation was skipped was disappointing but I honestly can't remember much of anything important being learned during it so I understand.
The first part of the first day of the trial was great as always. We start the running gag of Edgeworth not being able to get witnesses to say their name. Edgeworth objects to Oldbag's talkativeness (although the subs used some other big word I didn't know). I still love how everything's so like the game with the music and the cut ins before witness gives their testimony and all that. I especially love the effect they have for "OBJECTION!" (especially Oldbag's). I also can't wait for the OST to be released so I can get my hands on this version of "Pursuit ~ Cornered".
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Garrulous means excessively talkative, if I'm not mistaken.
Indeed it does.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I'm playing Apollo Justice, I'm on the first day investigation of Turnabout Serenade and I'm stuck. I've just talked to Lamiroir about all four topics and presented every piece of evidence to her, but there is nothing new to do. I really don't know what to do to proceed.
Watched the episode. This was actually a really good episode. There are a lot of great moments here that weren't in the game and they shortened the events considerably by having a lot of stuff that only came up during the second day of trial instead come up during the investigation. I honestly can't really complain about these changes since they worked out really well.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Someone pointed it out to me today, but there's a very subtle◊ and creepy change◊ to Fulbright's eyes come Chapter 5. (Major Dual Destinies Spoilers)
No reflections...
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.I'm kinda iffy on Nick's and Apollo's voices. I miss Nick's old OBJECTION!
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!More importantly, September release date confirmed. But will it be physical, or digital?
According to this Destructoid article it's eshop only.
Which is annoying to me since i might have to get rid of Dual Destinies to make enough room. and i can't preorder on the eshop (i don't HAVE to preorder this there's no bonus but i like to plan ahead)

The final Japanese trailer has gone up:
Phoenix: I won't go easy on you.
Apollo: That's fine with me!
Looks like Every mechanic outside of the spinoffs is being used. hopefully to a greater extent than the 1-2 times in DD.
oh for fucks sake...
guess i cant get spirit of justice then, because i cant trust any download from the e-shop to even work.
I don't care about being digital-only.At this point,it's much better than nothing, but fuck Capcom for skipping Great Ace Attorney, you can't talk your way out of this by saying you have limited resources to localize your games when companies like X Seed can localize games that are a nightmare to translate like The Legend of Heroes series...
I suppose the spirit pool is gonna effectively take the place of the Mood Matrix, then?
I have a message from another time...
The Judge is pretty famous for not noticing things unless someone very explicitly points them out, so his reaction probably isn't a good basis for judging how other people see the channeler. Mia's beauty mark on her chin turns up, in addition to the... larger-scale changes, so a more observant person wouldn't think Maya just opened her robe or something.
I'm growing a bit more ambivalent about the anime series as it goes on. It seems very bare-bones, probably made to promote the games with AA6 coming up (and that prequel? Or is that already out?). I'm glad to see Ace Attorney animated, and it seems better than most game-to-anime adaptations, but I guess there's only so much that can be done to cram each case into 3 half-hour episodes.
