The pun is Inga Karkhuul "How could this name be any longer or more pompous than it already is" Khura'in III.
OH right. i forgot he had a really long name.
on the character page i only saw "inga karkhuul"
I thought it was funny that the final case in DD was a two-parter covering 5-4 and 5-5, whereas the final case in So J does the opposite and is essentially two cases in one.
I also noticed that if you examine the desk in Trucy's dressing room in case 6-2 the topic of Apollo reading manga at work comes up. I wonder if this is Ascended Fanon from the Ask Ace Attorney blog portraying Apollo as being an anime and manga buff in his spare time, or just a coincidence that I'm reading too much into.
Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierThe game takes place in Japanifornia. It's not surprising that Apollo's interests include anime and manga.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Apollo mentioned reading manga in 5-2 as well, when he and Athena are investigating the crime scene.
Has anybody though of a counter-deduction system?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.A possible contender for the most obscure reference in a letter for Ask Ace Attorney.
Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierCaved and bought Spirit of Justice even though I really only like physical copies of games. I've only played Investigations though so this should be interesting.
Hope you have fun.
So, I just saw this fan art of (link below) of baby Trucy crawling around on Edgeworth's shoulders while he's doing something on a newspaper and it got me wondering about Edgeworth's and Trucy's first meeting. And then I remembered that before Phoenix got his badge back, he occasionaly traveled to Europe to help Edgeworth with some legal matters. And THEN I remembered that Edgeworth knows Apollo despite not ever meeting him in Apollo's own game.
ELABORATE, CAPCOM! ELABORATE!
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.I thought Trucy was already around 8 when she met Phoenix...
... And that's called jazz!x2
Oh I am. I've failed a few times but even then I haven't had to use a walkthrough nearly as much as I did for Investigations back when that first came out.
Yeah, she was 8 but I'm willing to let it pass out of artistic license. It just makes me want to know more about Edgeworth's relationship with Trucy.
So, I've been reading this pretty nice blog and a certain post raised an interesting question. (Link's below, by the way.)
What would happen if Kristoph Gavin requested for Apollo to defend him?

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Apollo would very likely say no.
Very likely, yes, but the idea itself...
Perhaps a short story about it should be written some day?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.I think someone actually forwarded that message to Apollo, if you're willing to sift through his tag.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! They did.
He said no.
Beat Case 3 at 4 this morning and while I am enjoying the game so far I also feel like it drags on a lot and the system could be refined a fair amount. I hate it when I have both the right statement and evidence but I still get a penalty because when presenting the evidence I pointed to the right area but for some reason the game treats it like I'm pointing somewhere else until I move away from that area and then reposition myself at that area albeit a tiny shift that's barely noticeable.
What'd you think of Case 2?
While I don't really care for the case itself all that much it did surprise me since it seemed fairly obvious that Betty/Bonny was the culprit so I didn't see them being accomplices to the real culprit coming. I am confused though as to what Betty meant when she said Trucy would be getting what she deserved when we overheard her talking in the Understage. She didn't seem to know about the murder and the framing so the obvious reasoning is that she's talking about the 'prank' but the way she talks about the framing makes it seem like she meant Trucy deserved to be in jail but then Bonny basically reveals that Betty is kind of tsundere for Trucy so that doesn't exactly fit either.
That said, I did beat Case 4 last night and while I don't think it was as funny as I've seen people in this thread hype it up to be I'd say that Betty, Bonny and Uendo and his personalities are probably my favorite witnesses in the game so far. The first two because they play off each other really well despite me feeling sorry for Bonny and because Betty is probably the second most over the top witness so far that it's hilarious how people interact with her and the latter because they're just so out there I can't help but find them amusing even if I didn't think their trial lived up to the hype.
No thoughts on the villains so far?
I don't really think any of them were all that interesting to be honest. Tahurst Inmee's circumstances were tragic but even the game points out that his actions were pretty stupid so that kind of diminishes that point for me. The other three just weren't that interesting to me in terms of motives or character design/personality. If anything I'd say that the culprits are one of the weakest aspects of the game so far alongside the pacing and the overuse of flashbacks. Outside of Tahurst Inmee and Maya's case I honestly find the accused and false leads more compelling than the actual culprits so far.
Case 4 might be another exception but since I'm only just getting to the part of Trial Day 1 where the idea that a murder was involved was introduced to the story I can't say for sure yet.
I thought Reus was good.
honestly i thought reus was the best culprit in the game
also loved seeing trucy playing a major role again
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaBetween Pees'lubn Andistan'dhin, Reus, Tahrust Inmee, Geiru Toneido, and Paul Atishon so far I'd say that Reus is tied with Paul for the worst ones so far. Pees'lubn at least had an amusing personality even if his motives and design were generic, Tahrust has tragic circumstances and humor going for him which is why I'd say he was the best one so far, and Geiru has that undercurrent of tragedy as well even if not to the same extent as Tahrust even though I hated her design and didn't find her nearly as entertaining as him.
Reus on the other hand had a boring motive, a boring character design, and he's just not very interesting to me. Hell Paul's motivation is better than Reus's petty revenge even if not by much and if it weren't for recent events his patheticness would be hilarious.
Still though I don't find the actual culprits that compelling compared to the red herrings though I'm only at the beginning of case 5 Trial Day 2 so it's possible the main villain might be better than all the others thus far though since it's shaping up to be the queen I sincerely doubt it.
um?
i dont really get the pun
