To me, out of the main characters two characters rose above others.
First one is Jack, at the same time classy, Bad Ass levels of Magnificent Bastard and hilariously over-the-top capitalist.
Second one is Kenneth, who for pretty much the whole show balanced between joyfully adorkable and absolutely terrifying. Something about that constant smile and all those Humanoid Abomination / Really 700 Years Old -jokes... Brrr.
I also liked Pete a lot, especially in the beginning, when he was sort of co-Only Sane Employee to Liz and the person she could always talk to as equals. It's a shame that Jack took that position later on, I really liked their dynamic.
And of course, Dr. Leo Spaceman. I don't think that man's ever been to medical school. Everything he does and says is just comedy gold. It's amazing how every time he appears on screen the writers come up with a new way for him to be hilariously incompetent in his job.
Liz and Jack make the show.
Otherwise I like Spaceman. And I like Jenna a lot more than I'd be willing to admit when not behind an anonymous nickname.
Heh. I love Jenna, though I wish we'd seen more of Paul....
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"Leo Spaceman is my favourite side character.
Favourite main is Jack, followed by Jenna (and her Mickey Rourke jokes).
My favorite characters are definitely Jack, Liz, and Kenneth.
IN CARTOON WORLD, GIRLS HAVE LIPS AND BOYS DON'T.I watched part of an episode of 30 Rock a few years ago and didn't find it all that funny.
But then I watched the first few episodes on Netflix and died laughing.
"I'm not on crack! This is straight-up mental illness!"
Fear is a superpower.
30 Rock is one of those shows that as it goes on, it relies more heavily on character centrist-humor and continuity. If your not familiar with the characters and the back story a lot of the later episodes seem rather stupid :P
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"I think that's what my problem was, trying to jump in at a random point. I'm definitely gonna watch more.
Another line I enjoyed:
"I'm doing good."
"Nuh-uh. Superman does good. You're doing well."
Fear is a superpower. And also to be honest there was a drop of quality in the middle. The last season was a huge redemption though.

I think that's a rather common phenomenon in long-running series with Seasonal Rot. The writers really go all out when it's sure that there will be no more seasons.
RIP Elaine Stritch.
There's going to be a 30 Rock reunion special tomorrow night on NBC, but half the country won't be able to see the broadcast. A large group of affiliate owners are boycotting it because they see it as an ad for NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service.
The largest markets (LA and NYC) are owned by NBC, so it will air there. For anyone else that wants to see it, it will be on NBC.com and yes, Peacock.
Having watched part of it, yes it was an ad for Peacock. There was some character stuff, but it's pretty blatant in advertising.
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.
Now that the show is over which side character did you guys like the most? For me it was Wesley Snipes, he was hilarious.
