Oh Ulti you clever bastard
Oh.I think I'm gonna livestream Iji when it turns 5 next year
Oh.What kind of run are you planning to do?
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Murderous flaming venegance rage of motherfucking death
Oh.What of Dan's fate, since won't be not playing blind? And what of the girlfriend? You need to spare her to reach the Deep Sector (and its supercharge).
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Perhaps shoot everyone but the girlfriend, and say that Iji had a temporary lapse in judgment? :p
wat, I'm killing ALL THE ALIENS *
Oh.You mean the one that distracts you while Asha kills Dan? If you want to kill him and save Dan, you can play a pre-1.6 version where the trapmine still shows a death effect (even though it doesn't increment your kill count).
Plus, it lets you use the resonance reflector all you want without worrying about "missing" a kill.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."So I reset Iji, and now I'm trying to beat it.
Dang you, making it so hard to do a pacifist run on extreme. I can get to the last sector, but not with enough nano to fully upgrade tasen, komato, and crack.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Jimmmyman, read from here onwards. Me and Brickman went on for a few pages about the feasibility of being an Extreme Pacifist, and exactly how to go about it.
EDIT: More specifically, we ending up talking about how to do it without rebooting your nanofield.

I forgot how good this soundtrack was. I'm lost in Make Your Mind Up right now
Oh.I'm rather partial to "3 Cans Later", myself.
That, or "Organ Smash".
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...I just wasted so much time.
After linking to the first page of this thread where me and Brickman talked about the Extreme Pacifist run, I then went on to read a few more pages... up until around page 35. I've already read all of that before!
It feels good to fight Tor without the game reducing quality to up the frame rate.
And I have to say, the attack where he goes into the background and launches a lot of missiles that come down in two waves is still one of the cooler things I've seen in a video game.
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonI'll raise you one Phantom Hammer
Oh.And I concede.
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonI think furious game lag is the only reason I've managed to beat Tor.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books. So I'll assume you haven't beat Ultimortal Asha2 yet?
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."@Sabbo: Hah! I did the same thing, except I stopped myself after five or six pages.
Originally I was going to do the same, but by the first time all the interesting conversation threads had stopped (by around page 20), it had gotten so late in the thread that I had begun to wonder when Ultimortal was going to show up.
...It still feels weird calling him Ultimortal, considering how that's also the name of something in this game. When I see that name, I consider it an adjective, not a noun. :/
I know what you mean Sabbo, at first I was like, why can't we call him Dan? But everyone else calls him Ulti so I'll just carry forward
Oh.I think Ulti himself explained the problem with calling him Dan: There are already Dan Kataiser and Dan Byrne McCullough.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."
But I don't see a footnote
Oh.
