there needs to be a mod that ruins the whole game
Asha points his gun at Dan
-ear rape Roundabout plays and the screen goes sepia-
smash cut to dead dan
And then there was silenceYou joke, but the ending does have a preexisting song starting to play over the action, and then once the music gets to the point where it picks up, the screen freeze-frames and goes sepia. All we need is "To Be Continued"

Finally got around to finishing a 1.7 playthrough. I got both the normal and Iosa endings, and then I decided to just go read the spoilers rather than do a full genocide run.
Still have to beat the game on harder difficulties, complete the sudden death sectors etc. now.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."I still need to unlock the Scrambler to see what happens during the new endings.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Ooh, I didn't think about seeing the new endings with the Scrambler. That'll be fun.
she her hers hOI!!! i'm tempeDidn't get around to adding any unique scrambler lines for the new endings unfortunately. :(
Aww, that's too bad. Any plans of doing that eventually?
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...@Medinoc: Can't really count it as Genocide if you weren't the one to wipe out every single one of them. The Komato wipe out the Tasen and not you, and you only battle a small army of Komato, so a rampager is more fitting a term.
TV Tropes Pantheon Group Members DatabaseSpeaking of the Iosa route, I didn't know Kiron was a general until that ending. I thought they were just Tor's second-in-command until then.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Same here.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."I always understood that he was a General, but in retrospect I'm not sure why. Isn't he mentioned in Yuka's page?
Aww, that's too bad. Any plans of doing that eventually?
I dunno, I feel pretty done with Iji and would rather not have to update it again. :p I still need to get around to adding the source code to my homepage and updating the game guide.
I believe the normal ending has always mentioned that Kiron is a general, but I'm not sure.
"TELL ME WHO ASHA IS! WHY DOES HE WEAR THE MASK?!"
"Perhaps he's wondering why you would engage a cutscene BEFORE putting the mine down?"
And then there was silenceAsha is Gabriel Reyes, obviously.
Is that actual scrambler dialog?
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayIt should be.
And then there was silenceFirst post in this thread (or any TT forum for that matter) in years but ohh my godd, I've been playing the game quite a bit recently but I've been holding off on updating to 1.7 because I had no idea it was more than just a bugfix. Gonna beat 1.6 on extreme tonight then go hit that update.
EDIT: I played through 1.7 and got the Alpha Strike and Iosa endings, which were absolutely insane, the latter even moreso. And then finding out in the credits that Iosa killed Tor, wow. Amazing job, Ulti

Oh.Hold on, does Tor in the latest version no longer have his One-Hit Kill attack?
He does, but as always his HP needs to be over a certain treshold for him to use it.

So reading the text dump, I notice that there's a conversation where Ansaksie chews you out for sparing Iosa. Given that sparing Iosa requires you not to recruit Ansaksie, I'm curious as to how one is intended to encounter this conversation.

she her hers hOI!!! i'm tempeThat conversation was dummied out during development (there's no trigger for it). It was meant to happen late in Sector X if you spared Iosa. Ansaksie is referred to as "???" here because Iji never met her in person, only possibly read her logbooks.
Thread necro? Thread necro.
Have a song:
Mmm. That was good.
Makes me want to have another run of the game, for old times' sake.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...
when's the iji update that'll just make the music indecipherably, deafeningly loud bass boosted bullshit
The sound in 1.7 clips half the time when I play already.
Shame that Game Maker mangled their sound system so badly.
