Looking at r/Bleach a lot of people seem to think the abrupt ending renders the whole final arc completely pointless and the bittersweet parting of Ichigo and Rukia after the Aizen fight would've been the best ending after all. I don't agree though.
Let's wait and see the final chapter. There's an 'important announcement' next week, so maybe it's getting Shaman King and Nurarihyon no Mago'd.
We can wait a week before we rage.

Funny but not helpful
I liked the first half of the Fullbrought story but you could have ended the manga after Deicide with some minor adjustments. Not entirely well but semi-decently.
Either open end it where you say that Ichigo's powers will eventually come back and in the meantime his friends/maybe sister are rad.
Or time skip it to Ichigo arriving in Soul Society and being greeted by Captain Rukia
It'd be about as perfunctory an ending as this, granted.
The last panel would be SS Ichigo going up and nelson laughing at bondage Aizen.

You know, I'm just going the spend next week preparing my greatest "I called that shit" post ever when that "new" series thing ends up happening.
This reeks of cancellation though. I mean...yikes. The sheer amount of stuff to make even this arc work would take at least ten chapters.

Not trolling hard enough. It has to end with no confirmed pairings, Oda style. Not even the slightest hint of who ends up with who, if anyone.
In Bleach guys are only allowed to love dead women, so it doesn't work.

@ MadSkillz: Nah, Bleach would have to have something worse than romanticized abusive relationships for that to happen. I'm expecting something not entirely ideal, but decently satisfying.
If this really is the end with the next two chapters, I'd have to say even Naruto would feel more satisfying. And Bleach is very unlikely to get all the movies and spinoffs like Naruto.

Actually, I don't see why that wouldn't be right.
Difference is The Last was very good and Naruto/Hinata actually worked.
Its pretty fucking sad.
