20 is the guess, yeah.
I must say I'm becoming deeply concerned Zaraki's and Aizen's arcs will resolve anticlimactically. Especially if editorial is involved with the decision to end soon.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Yeah, it'll be a sight to behold if he can clear up all the stuff he seemed to build up in (probably) 20 chapters.
Ups and downs aside, I'm kind of sad to see it end.
This also probably means we really are done with the Royal Guard, which is kind of a shame. Only Ichibei and Ouetsu lived up the hype.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."I kind of had a thought about Bach wanting all this power lately.
Basically, Bach does everything he can to avoid a future where he'll die or otherwise be permanently powerless. All of his plans and manipulations are done to further THAT goal in particular. After all, he started life as a powerless baby, he knows what it's like to be vulnerable and such.
So he makes the Quincies to oppose the Hollows that could kill him. He creates the Sternritter to stall the Shinigami that could kill him. He sleeps for all those years because then he could regain his powers instead of dying. He sends a clone after Yamamoto because he would die otherwise. He leaves Haschwalt to take care of business while he's asleep because that's a time when he's vulnerable to death. When he's confronting the Royal Guard, he brings enough of his Elites to deal with them so he can focus his efforts on Ichibei, as he knows that if he's just facing one Shinigami he'll have plenty of time to stall for his Almighty to return, then he can use it's ability to rewrite the future so Ichibei dies before the final attack that would've killed him. He absorbs the Soul King and the Mimihagi so he can have power beyond all and again avoid death.
And so forth and so forth you get the point. But the best thing about this is how he manipulated Uryu and Haschwalt. He took Haschwalt's desire for power and Uryu's desire to get revenge, gave them appropriate powers to go at each other in an almost stalemate, and that made sure that neither side would be able to get in his way when Ichigo appeared.
Stella ~Part 3 (Atelier Shallie)Maybe he wants to avoid the possible "Regress to a not quite dead but close infant" as much as he can?
Secret SignatureYeah, it was said that if he stops he will go back to being like that.
So...a countdown towards the end, huh? Can't help but feel sad. Kinda hope the last chapter titles won't just be THE END because that would be too boring. Anyways.
THE END 2:
- And then, checkmate. This is going to be Ichigo's biggest "down in the dumps" moment for sure, and he's no stranger to such moments...
- Sorry, Haschwalth, looks like Yhwach tossed ye aside. Didn't see that coming, did ya?
- Heh, I knew there was no point in focusing more time on Gerard's fight. After all, only a miracle could take him out. And it came in the form of Yhwach performing "Soul Steal" once more.

The sad, REAL American dichotomySo here's an idea:
What if Ywach wins because the world he creates is actually a really good one and everyone's like "You know what? I'm cool with this."
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I wouldn't trust Killsteal Teamkiller Mustache Douche to make such a thing.
Secret SignatureThat's true.
This is a guy who's promised to wait until everyone's happiest day to show up and fuck things up.
I can't help but think that the ideal world he wants to create is a world where everyone but him is absolutely miserable, and would actively put effort into making them more miserable if they were miserable enough.
One Strip! One Strip! His world would probably be "If you die I eat you" or something.
Secret SignatureI don't think he really sees anyone else as a real person. Granted, that's understandable given that for most of his mortal life he was mistaken for God...
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Yhwach is a dick, he wouldn't build such a world.
And since he's kind of an Hate Sink, it'd be weird for him to be a Karma Houdini.
Also, I'm really excepting for the next chapter to feature some panels of ichigo and co being happy and stuff and then you have Yhwach popping up to slaughter them in the future.

Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.One theory I've been hearing is that we'll see a temporary victory for Yhwach followed by a relaunch, like with Tokyo Ghoul.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Like a world wide reboot kind of thing? Or just a time skip in a new series?
You know, all of this talk about Ywach being a dick makes me think that he may be even more of a dick than Dio Brando but I'm not sure if he's nearly as amusing to watch in his epic deuchebaggery.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm thinking that's what's going on here.
Kubo's going to "end" Bleach with Yhwach's victory, there'll be some chapters in his new world, then everything will end after that.
Stella ~Part 3 (Atelier Shallie)I think it's the difference between a personal menace (Dio's conflict with the Joestars) and a grand scale menace (Yhwach and his primary focus of rewriting the universe). There's a good deal of overlap (since such a rewrite was Dio's ultimate goal), but much of Dio's menace was on a personal level (getting a mother to devour hey own child upon vampirism, making a guy run people down in his car) while Yhwach has largely wrecked shit with the personal stuff as either an afterthought or largely limited to Ichigo.

I'm not sure what exactly Bach is doing actually.Did he create a new realm above the Royal one, from which he'll rule the fused worlds?
Secret SignatureI think that the portal is where he'll create a new world, the others will follow him there and pwn him, i guess.
There are theories about Yhwach being bound to be the new soul king but, tbh, I don't know how Kubo is going to have Ichigo regain enough power to kill him at this point.

Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.We still don't even know why he wants to do all this, or why he hated the Soul King so much either.
I mean, at first I figured it was because the Soul King was evil, but we've seen no evidence of that (to the contrary, if not good, the fact that he's literally the foundation of the universe means he's at least not antagonistic to those who live in it).
One Strip! One Strip!I doubt he was good, as it's no coincidence that several of the Soul Kings parts are Quincies. Pernida outright says it has always been a Quincy and Yhwach was surprised Mimihagi would oppose him despite being a Soul Reaper.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
Probably 20, for an even 700.
Buckbeard's probably leaving them alive because he's making plans for the long term.
