Lille's power are more like Pernida's
They have a Schrift ability -X-axis and Compulsary- which seems to be a defined ability with very specific uses but then they have a bunch of crazy other abilities that buff them up to insane levels
such as Lille's mutant healing/regeneration and transformation which seems to be an allusion to being Yhwach's first Quincy created and the first Schrift given -which are set up as two separate things-
Pernida's compulsory gives it a lethal means of attack but its adaption and healing powers come from the fact its the Left Hand of the soul king and less its Schrift ability.
Gerard.on the other hand... The Miracle seems to directly correlate with being the 'supposed' Heart of the Soul King. cause what Gerard doesn't need is more more auxiliary abilities
I wonder if Gerard even has a Voldstandig or if he just automatically transforms every time he reforms after being obliterated.
I assumed his form with the bearded helmet was it.Since it was called [God's Divine Authority] and all.
Secret SignatureI've been thinking...I wonder if the "truly" terrifying part of "The Almighty" is that it let's Yhwach actively see possible futures and choice which one happens? Like with Gremmy only not shitty.
Like, it definitely fits with the whole God thing he's going for. You may say it's too overpowered (a phrase I hate) but that could apply to everything about him now, anyway.

Doesn't it also make him immune to everything he sees. Was brought up vs Ichibei.
Secret SignatureHe can probably play the odds. Like Shishi-whatshisface, just on a far grander scale. Which is pretty much what you're thinking - manipulate the strings of all the possible futures, and see what will happen if he pulls a string here or there. It's like having your own sandbox to play in. Once he gets it all right in his head head, he can make it happen for real.
He seems to have blind spots though - things like the Soul King or any part of it. And possibly Uryu.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Chapter out.Quickslow but nice.
Secret SignatureThis is the kind of chapter that is best read together with several other chapters instead of on its own.
Yeah, that was abrupt.
Ichigo's new form is cool in action, I like how the cero Getsuga takes on even more of a crescent moon shape. Orihime's reaction disappoints me, though - by all means, be afraid of the rampaging Hollow Ichigo. But still being unnerved by the willingly Hollowfied Ichigo seems really silly. That Hollowification was never presented as a bad thing, so it just seems weird to act like it's good that he can use his Hollow powers without taking on that mask now.
I did kinda laugh at the PTSD that she was having tho.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.the crescent moon getsuga makes sense with the moon fang meaning.
agree this chapter would be best alongside 5 others
(•_•)⌐■-■ ( ಠ_ಠ)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■)I agree with the consensus of good but too short. Actually, that describes most Bleach chapters.
[I've been thinking...I wonder if the "truly" terrifying part of "The Almighty" is that it let's Yhwach actively see possible futures and choice which one happens? Like with Gremmy only not shitty.]
I don't think it was ever implied that Gremmy could do that, his powers were imagination based, and again with the Gremmy's powers bashing, what exactly was wrong with them?
You didn't anwser my question.

Hence the "not shitty". Well, that and the assumption that Yhwach is smarter with it.
[I assumed his form with the bearded helmet was it.Since it was called [God's Divine Authority] and all.]
But he still changed shaped after Byakuya used Senkei, and I think that is Gerard beginning to transform into his full power, of course that depends on whither or that it will be "just plain Voltstanding" or something more.
I think Gerard, AKA, the Heart of the Spirit King, is actually a hybrid of Shinigami and Quincy, the heart is between the arms, and Gerard holds a sword (which has it's own name BTW) in his RIGHT hand (Mimihage, the SK's right arm is Shinigami) and a shield in his LEFT arm (Pernida, the SK's left arm is Quincy). I think besides the limbs there are other pieces of the SK that are crosses between the pure powers such as maybe the right Kidney, which would be Shinigami/Hollow (which I believe is part of Ulquiorra and that is what he saw in that white bush in his flashback and why he has Segunda Etepa, and no I don't believe Ulquiorra is really dead and he will come back).

Y'all are all taking this whole body part thing waaaaaaay too seriously
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI'm waiting for the Soul King's appendix to show up.
Maybe it's Chad, given how useless he is.
We've had two sentient, giant hands show up, one of whom had a mouth. I don't think it's possible to not overthink this enough.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA![I'm waiting for the Soul King's appendix to show up. Maybe it's Chad, given how useless he is.]
I'm getting real tired of this Chad bashing. How exactly is Chad useless? He dosen't get much screentime but that's a different matter, before the timeskip, his power was comparable to that of a VICE CAPTAIN and that was just from three months of training and he was able to take out a former espada, how powerful do you think he has gotten now after the timeskip?
(BTW, regarding the timeskip, was there a one year skip between the Fullbringer and Final arc, because during the first arc it was stated that Masaki died six years ago, and adding the time skip between Deicide and the Fullbringer arc that would only make it eight as apposed to nine, so I'm wondering if there was a mistranslation or anything.)
Edit: uh, he's fighting a bunch of living statues right now with Ganju, plus he hasn't been properly given a chance to showcase his powers after the timeskip.

Chad is useless because he doesn't do anything useful. I thought that much would be obvious.
Oh you edited in a response. So what you're saying is that his usefulness amounts to fighting mooks. Offscreen. With a character that hasn't appeared in about four hundred chapters.
Awesome, good work Chad, you're really moving up in life.

I'd have been all right with fighting the mooks, but you've fallen far when you have to share your moment of glory with a character who was last seen being, at best, a Cowardly Lion.
You may be being sarcastic but sadly this really is moving up in life for Chad
Forever liveblogging the AvengersChad who?
