Or alternatively, the wardens aren't all that great, but the Doom Slayer had paid Bleach's hell a visit in the past, and the inhabitants have been too terrified to start shit since then.

Click Click Boom BoomY'know, Grand Fisher's been dead for a while. I wonder if Masaki might show up again at some point?
There's actually more than a couple dead humans from the start of the series I've always thought about reappearing, but she's the only one that seems relevant to me.
but HOW?I'm no where near an expert in Japanese but looking at the raws, it looks like Isshin actually was calling Ryuuken a bad son. Maybe we'll find out more about that later.
Ryuuken acts like a little shit any chance he gets, I'd wager he's been called a bad everything.
Especially when he was with his wife, whose remarks of "wow you're bad at sex" led Ryuken to always look at Uryu as a reminder of those scathing words.
I wonder what would happen if Pernida and Mimihagi were to fight? Would they just cancel each other out?
I dunno, I think they'd just shake hands and settle their differences quietly, but you'd have to keep an eye on them afterward.
You didn't
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youKubo cares more about the emblem of the Olympics more than 99% of the population of Brazil, I'm sure of that.
Before Watchmen: Made and filled with tropes. Next: The Wolf of Wall Street.X 5 The most epic arm wrestling match of all time?
I hope absorbing Mimihagi comes back to bite Yhwach in the ass some way.
Otherwise it makes the whole deal with Ukitake pointless.
Maybe because he absorbed an entity that represents stillness he finds his power is unable to grow any more and he ends up casting off the power gained from Mimihagi which weakens him enough for Ichigo to kill him or because he absorbed Mimihagi he can not absorb any new souls and begins to revert back to his infant state.

Story of his life
Forever liveblogging the AvengersMore Fanwanking ahead...
I think the Almighty works by analyzing how reishi flows and then comes up with a counter flow of reishi. If everything is based on reishi then everyones attacks are just different ways of manipulating reishi. So the Almighty works by seeing the exact way reishi moves and creates a counter flow to defeat it. It is basically what Urahara and Mayuri do taken up to eleven and with no need for prep time or tools.
It akes me wonder if Yhwach could be defeated by dragging him to the world of the living where not everything is made of reishi and finding a way to attack him so he can not see his attacker. Or for an even crazier idea, attack him using regular weaponry. What if the final battle is Ichigo Vs. Yhwach in the world of the living, Ichigo casts aside his Zanpakutou becuase Yhwach would be able to countersits attacks due to it being made of reishi, but Yhwach could not counter Ichigo's attacks in his human body using good ol fisticuffs.
The final battle comes down to a slugfest between Ichigo and Yhwach, neither using their supernatural abilities. Just Ichigo using his own natural martial prowess to protect those he loves. It would be pretty funny if Yhwach is actually a crappy mundane hand to hand fighter because he is so used to using his Quincy abilities.

So we've got the arms and the heart accounted for; I wonder where the legs are? I've been thinking they could be Zaraki and/or Aizen, which would go toward explaining what anomalies they both are.
Yeah, what was that comment about the Olympics?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyBrazil Olympics sigil was nothing but hands
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youWell, if it's Isshin calling Ryuken a bad son, that would make more sense than people in general because we've seen Isshin chastise Ryuken before, and the manga's given us more than a few hints that Ryuken and Soken had a falling out at some point. Soken and Uryu were closer to each other than either of them were to Ryuken, who's been portrayed as the 'black sheep' of the family.
I assumed Kubo was talking about the design for the Tokyo Olympics (in 2020), which caused a lot of controversy. The original one was scrapped last September, so the logo had to be redesigned from scratch, and now looks like this◊. <— Spot the sneakily inserted Chrysanthemum (Imperial) symbol.
I can imagine Kubo liking this because he's done chapter title pages like Chapter 258, which was Uryu and Ryuken facing away from each other with the title written out in a black-and-white chequered pattern.
And then there's Nanana's teeth...
Mimihagi was bait. He wanted Yhwach to absorb him. You bet that'll bite Yhwach in the arse at some point.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading. If it helps, Viz's version of Isshin's final line was "You know your son talks bad about you cuz you talk about your father like that, don't you?"

Oh, well, if Viz is agreeing with me, I must be wrong!
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.I doubt Mimihagi's like the whole Alucard and Schrödinger thing. Bach wouldn't intentionally empower, employ, and then absorb someone who could fuck him over, knowing that he was sending the guy up against someone who makes plans like that.
If Bach did, that's an astonishing lack of foresight (on someone who can see the future).

The sad, REAL American dichotomyWell, it's not like he can see everything. Like, he obviously hasn't seen his inevitable defeat.
He didn't empower or employ Mimihagi (Mimihagi was the one inside Ukitake). He didn't have a clue what Mimihagi was doing to the point where he lost his cool and was shouting at the thing. He manipulated Ichigo into making the killing blow against the Soul King, and he didn't rush to absorb any power until Mimihagi showed up and confused him. It's only then that he decided to absorb the Soul King's power. Mimihagi seems like bait to me.

You know its sad that the most competently run part of the after life.. is Hell strictly cause the Shinigami DON'T have their fingers in it.
that or the Hell Wardens are basically the Doom Slayer
