In my personal opinion it varies from arc to arc, but in general I find that OP has better week-to-week pacing, but Bleach is paced better if read all at once. Make of that what you will.

Yeah, I've found that I enjoy reading entire volumes of Bleach more than most other manga. To contrast with One Piece, even when I actually enjoy what's happening I often find myself wondering how much longer is this going to go on.
It doesn't help that a lot of the time with One Piece (and I don't just mean the current arc) not a lot really happens each chapter, but seeing how Oda apparently loves to have every panel crammed with scenery and nonessential dialogue it still takes awhile to read. That's one problem I have with the series as a whole.

It's far from new, too. Alabasta's falling action took a really long time (nearly a volume after the Big Bad was defeated to resolve Vivi's story IIRC), as did the main flashback in Skypiea.

That was a typo, in all the official translations Aizen says Ichigo is special because he's the child of a human, then gets cut off, with Ichigo figuring out what he was going to say by Isshin simply being there.
Aizen wasn't even lying, Masaki was human, he just neglected to mention she also happened to be a Quincy. Really, I could buy that Ichigo would have major potential even if she wasn't a human simply based on how extraordinary the circumstances in either case must be.

I have strong doubts that between the writer, assistants and editor, a typo on an in-series revolutionary cliffhanger line would make it through to initial print.

You can doubt it if you want, but considering the next chapter picks up with Aizen repeating the line but as "You the son of a human and..." or something along those lines, I'm not sure why you would.
Edit: Besides, aren't the chapters we get a week from actually being printed? We're a week ahead of Shonen Jump, I think, because the chapters are illegally leaked.

It's certainly not like mistakes don't slip through from time to time. Stands to reason that occasionally the mistake that slipped through was something important.
Alternatively, Kubo and the editor knew that Ichigo was half-Quincy at the point, and initially intended that line to be setting that up, but decided to change it because that sequence was already a tad revelation-heavy.

Negima was the same (Not really dialogue, just scenery), Akamatsu loves to include really highly detailed scenery, which means you end up looking at the scenery for ages. That's why it took me far longer to read Negima than other series'. By the way, this isn't really an issue for me, I just thought I'd point it out haha.

I have no trouble believing it was a mistake either. Way bigger mistakes have slipped through weekly releases, though most of them are art mistakes. I think they'd be harder to miss than a simple dialogue error though, especially if Kubo already has the Shinigami part on his mind.

I don't like things being rushed either but that's only the opposite extreme to things being dragged out. And One Piece is hella dragged out right now.
I also prefer Bleach being written for the trade because even if it means the pacing isn't as enjoyable when keeping up to date, the re-reads are much better.
