I just get back from cutting grass and we're talking about beating up my Giselle? What happened?

All of those are standard problems in this and most fandom I observe frequently. Personally, I don't really care but I'm curious to see what Kubo will do. I doubt he's trying to make some big statement though.

Right now, Yumichika is the key here if he and Ikkaku are to win. He absorbs reishi, which serves as the perfect counter to the reishi bombs and Giselle's pseudo-immortality.

Yeah, Ikkaku really can't do anything in this fight. It'll probably require Yumichika to use his actual Shikai in front of Ikkaku.

Next crowner. So in other news I filled the crowner with the Espada first and then went down adding everyone else before remembering that there were supposed to be ten Espada, so Yammy gets to be all lonely at the bottom.

It's possible that Ikkaku will both openly use his bankai and also use it right for once. But yeah, he's kinda outgunned.

By the way, despite the whole zombie thing, Giselle seems to treat Bambietta pretty well, all things considered. I mean, she sure as hell could be worse as a master. -shrugs-

Now, then.... nobody chimed in last time I asked, so I'll reiterate. Who fights Hisagi and Byakuya?

Candice interrupts Yumichika to have a fashion competition. Byakuya substitutes in and fights Giselle because he love zombies so much after As Nodt.

You know.... I can slightly see that happening.

I mean, Kubo's been all over the place with these matchups. I won't be surprised by much after this.

Anyone else think the fact that "K" wasn't revealed in those volume sketches means Kubo's still got plans for BG9?

Well, look at all of the other letters with illustrations. Barring Cang Du, they've all done something rather important, and even Cang Du was used as a way to foreshadow Yhwach's assimilation.

So, yeah, I do think there might be more in store for BG9. You don't say "I've never had a life to begin with" and leave it at that. You also don't reveal the name of an epithet in a databook.

Not really; we didn't get O or Y in those sketches and I somehow doubt those guys are coming back.

O and Y were revealed in the story, though. We don't know what K is at all.

Plus, it kinda doesn't make sense for Yhwach to execute something that has no life anyway.
