Uryu would probably avoid the curse of Yhwach's blessings the same way he survived the purge. Meaning, who knows, but it's a plot point.

And then that's it. No more Bleach anime. What's that gonna take a year? Year and a half.

Reigai Unohana completely disappeared, actually. After her usage of Kido, she did not appear again.

She decided she had better things to do than be B list fodder in bad filler and went on vacation.

Soooo, final thoughts on the Invading Army arc?

It needed less Fillerkuya, more Chad being awesome and less Kageroza bullshit.

I was unable to watch a lot of it in English, but I watched the Japanese version.

Kageroza was a hilarious cheat. But I'll never forgive him for what he did to Reisane. Using her as a scapegoat to escape Mayuri's superdrug.

Yushima's a waste of space.

The fights were nice, but the Reigai just ragequitting(disguised as their duty) was underwhelming.

Crud, I may have to watch the English version of The Lost Agent Arc online if I want to hear the Fullbringers' voices. Darn you, cable!

Let's see... well, I thought it would be good at first. Nope, it so much worse than I thought, and Nozomi/Inaba/Yushima were all just as bad as the YMMV page made it seem.

Easily the worst filler arc ever in Bleach.

On the bright side, considering the manga officially claims that Kirio created Mod Souls, we can say even Kubo hated this arc and wanted it retconned out of existence.

Muramasa is still IMO the best filler villain

That's not exactly true. She invented the basis for their creation, which is moving spirit energy outside of yourself and storing it.

The Invasion Arc... is just a lot of missed potential, strictly cause they had no real direction to it. I mean all of the premises they just kinda throw together for this the big send off to the pretimeskip era. The Amagai arc for all the complaints atleast knew where it was going and what to do to get there.

That's why Nozomi's 'character' flip flops from being a-social loner to I fight for my friends. She's not a character she's a plot direction sign.

Trying to give Kon a love interest seemed to be dumb move, since the only joke they could think of was 'Kon's a pervert most of the it but here he is trying to be sincere'

Yushima/Kageroza, is pretty much Aizen with Green hair and a rather poor back story to justify trying to takeover the SS.

I liked Nozomi's design and Shikai, and Yushima has pretty good one too. Kageroza's is 'meh'

The things I'd do differently?

The SS wouldn't show up till the 2nd/3rd act of the arc. IE focus on establishing why Ichigo and co would give a damn about Nozomi outside of "It's the Shonen right thing to do." that works as the basic starting point not as the overall reasoning. also hold off on the clone reveal, I mean We know somethings off but don't just straight up reveal it.

Also if this is suppose to be the Dream Match Game arc -why else would you have clones- Why limit it to just the current SS members? If Yushima has been plotting this for years and monitoring all SS activity. Go all the way in for the Clone madness.

Go the full ****ing mile. Reigai Espada, Reigai Gin -so we can have that Byakuya match that never happened-, Tousen and Base Aizen
