I believe you're looking for the new media subforum. It covers pretty much everything made on the internet that isn't a webcomic or fanfiction.
I used to watch Seth Bling, but he rarely puts out Minecraft videos anymore.
I watch a few Mindcrackers, including SethBling, Docm77, Vechs, Etho, and Zisteau.
So, uh, I came back from exploring the ocean temple only to find that half of my Villagers in the Market Street disappeared.
It wasn't Zombies, there was no way for them to get in there and there were no Rotten Flesh remains, so I have no idea what happened. It's like they simply despawned.
And strangely, it was all the Villagers on the left side of the street. The right side is still there...
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! You might be experiencing MC-65040, in which entities neat spawn chunks become invisible due to the chunk not rendering, then reappear when the chunk is loaded again. Try reloading the world.
It's not quite near spawn, though...
I suppose that's possible. If I come back and there's two of every villager in the left stalls (I just used cheats to respawn them, because I'm not rebuilding a villager breeder), I guess we'll know.
The armor stands in the armorer's stall also disappeared.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!the downside of branch mining is getting more cobblestone than you will ever need or want in your entire life
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!I usually end up creating a massive storage area just for cobblestone. Because what if I need it one day?
It's nice to have a block in bulk anyway, good for mega-projects. Or just really long bridges.
I'm baaaaaaackNew stuff or the ocean monument blocks I haven't seen yet?
Where's that screenshot from?
That's Ocean Monument blocks, yeah.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! What are you talking about? Having an excess of cobblestone is awesome! For you, it may be a pain in the ass, but for somebody such as I, it's the best way of acquiring sufficient resources to build Brobdingnagian behemoths! My mission in life is to get enough cobblestone to build whatever the hell I want without running out of materials to build my fortress with.
H.B. Ward...but cobblestone is a renewable resource. If you don't believe me, go check out the generator at the mountainhome on Ravendel. You might need to restart the circuit that powers it though.

It being renewable is kinda moot, considering it's the most abundant resource in the game. The thing about having a chest full is that you already have it prepared.
Really, using a generator is a bit of a waste, since exploring underground can find you other resources. Unless you have a generator that mines the cobblestone for you somehow, I don't really see the point.
Mostly does better things now. Key word mostly. Writes things, but you'll never find them. Or you can ask. These are my thoughts exactly. I find that overall, in the long run using a cobblestone generator to get your stone and stone accessories is actually way slower than spending a bit of time in a secluded area and just digging underground frequently. Nobody knows how to make it generate plain standard stone without wasting redstone dust, anyway. Well, nobody except for me, anyway.
And I can prove that it's possible. I've done it before.
H.B. WardAs have I. It's more complicated, but it is quite interesting.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!

H.B. WardWitchcraft!
Oh my god, is that a new mod? I'm amazed by how utterly original the name is!

eh, I've never been one for massive building projects in Minecraft; don't really have the patience or the imagination for it. i prefer to simply explore and try to finally finish the Achievements tree.
speaking of which: it is really hard to get an Enderman to sit still long enough to yield them delicious ender pearls

It's a picture someone posted on reddit, that Jeb says makes him happy about the new block that's being added in 1.9. It's not in the picture. Here's the tweet.

No more stairs and no more slabs...even if I don't play anymore now, I'll hold out for chairs until I'm dead.
At least make the new block do something besides sit there and look pretty.
I'm with you all the way on that chairs thing. Any kind of standard furniture in the game is way WAY long overdue. The most annoying thing about it is that when you try to suggest something of the sort on Reddit or the Minecraft Forums, they're all like "duuurggh but can't you just make chairs out of stairs and a sign?" To which I'd naturally say, "So fucking what if you can pretend a stair block is a seat? Mojang needs to add real furniture that you can craft, with a sitting mechanic."
I don't wish to offend anybody here, but I think it's utterly ridiculous that our only way to make a seat still involves "getting creative" with a stair and a couple of signs. It's just not satisfactory.

H.B. WardThat's really true.
Steve?'s gone how many years without being able to sit? get the man a chair already. Squatting against a stair just isn't the same.
I'm baaaaaaack
I used to watch the B Double 0 Mindcrack videos but it got too boring and repetitive eventually.
