What would you want it to be? I always like to think of Saint Cyprian's as a tv miniseries, since tv miniseries I personally think is what Australian media does best.

Video game series (as Endless Conflict originally was planned to be) or alternatively an OVA/OAV/Otherwise Animated TV miniseries. I couldn't see it done as a live action TV show or miniseries because stylistically it would have several things lacking that it cannot do that literary or animated format would have to begin with.

I've pondered what my stories would be like if they got converted to a movie or TV show. I'd probably be very bossy in insisting they didn't ruin in, since they'd want to ram in some romantic subplot or a Black Best Friend.

An animation. Infact, I've always thought it would work better as an animation, but I am even worse at animating than I am at drawing.

Definitely an animated series, though I think a game in the same vein as Legend of Mana (EVERYTHING IS SIDEQUESTS) would work well too.

Either a cartoon or a videogame. I'd shit myself with excitement at the latter.

Both my current work and the next one I have planned are easily most suited to live action TV.

Because I choose to.

My guide to three-act structure was Lew Hunter's Screenwriting 434, so I'd say film or television serial, preferably animated. Even if Hunter is a painfully conventional writer.

Stuck as a trilogy by DreamWorks would be amazing, if it were done to their highest potential. They certainly have the humor aspect covered, and if How To Train Your Dragon was anything to go by, they'd be able to handle the eventual transition into an action-drama with enough laughs to keep the mood somewhat idealistic, just like how the book (hopefully) will once I finish it.

It's a comic book with a cartoony art style, so I think it'd definitely be best as an Animated TV Series, since it's too episodic for a movie. A Jazzy soundtrack, sound effects appearing onscreen (like in Courage The Cowardly Dog or the Scott Pilgrim movie)...it'd be a wacky series aimed at teens. I'd watch it.

An anime. I ALWAYS like to imagine it as an anime or an animated series on CN's Adult Swim.

For my stories it depends on the medium the original work was in (or was adapted in). I imagine my Sailor Moon fanfiction as being animated in Sailor Moon's art style, and the ones that are crossovers with characters from other anime would have those characters be drawn in the same style as the Sailor Moon characters to be more consistent). My two main Harry Potter fanfics are different, the one that is only a Harry Potter story I would imagine being live-action, while the Harry Potter/Sailor Moon crossover I would imagine being a Sailor Moon-style cartoon.

Since most of my stories are written in a format where chapters are like TV episodes (especially my Sailor Moon stories), I would imagine my stories being TV shows or OAVs instead of full-length movies.

Though there’s some obvious cartoony gags in Marblehead Manor, I conceived it as a live action TV series. I’m a writer, not an artist, and I worry about doing it as an animated show, that it will get diluted and become someone else’s vision. Then again, the final episode of the story arc I’m working on does feature an animated scene.

My works would look good as a film series or TV show...they'd probably ruin it with a crappy catchphrase or something, though.

A video game would be pretty neat, although it'd be almost impossible to do well because of the genre mashup that would ensue.

I'd prefer either a comic-book series or an HBO series/mini-series (it has to be HBO, too much censorship on the big screen or elsewhere on the small screen). I'd take an M-rated video game too though, if someone wanted to make one. Just so long as they keep in most of the blood and sex, I'm okay with whatever they want to do to my work.
