I just want to see what happens to the girl trying to get the Magic Coin.
Maybe she'll be part of some breather arc like when they introduced Linksano.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I like how meta that girl is "yeah guys doesn't this happen to reviewers in October every year?" But the subversion was pretty creepy.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Well, I was wrong about this addressing the ending to last year's story arc. Considering the other Halloween story-arcs usually had some big story developments, this one is definitely a Breather Arc. Still, we get some interesting backstory for the Magic Coin (one that maybe hints at a future villain) and the fight with Freddy was amusing. I loved the callback to the "I'm not even in front of you" joke from Kickassia.

Not everything is solved yet. That girls left with the magic coin with her and that will probably go somewhere. Maybe the being in the magic coin's backstory will play a role in the story at some point.
Hmm.. Kruger mentions it being Linkara's move and calls him "human" which leads me to think that he's tied to the Entity. But I think Lewis said that he was Killed Off for Real and they also mentioned a chess board.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing......oh my god its fenric
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."...That would be so awesome if it were true. (You think Linkara could hammer Mechakara with Ace's baseball bat while he's at it?)
Meanwhile in that spiderman story
Absolutely nothing was accomplished
Goddamnit Clone saga
Watching this review made me come to the conclusion it would really be better in hindsight if Ben turned out to be the real Spider in the end. That would allow Peter to have a happy ending AND continue the story in the status quo they want so much, so Linkara has a point here. Clones are people too after all.
Well something was accomplished trainers stuck in that coma until the end and his sudden heel turn plot twist
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."
in the end who the clone was didn't matter
Even Defalco the guy who singed off on the idea knew that the fandom would basically reject the idea of peter being the clone.
So really Ben being the clone was kinda always gonna happen. The point was to get rid of Peter so he'd hand over the mantle.
The problem is it seems every new editor/writer coming in... was opposed to Peter being a legacy character or him giving up being spiderman to somebody else.
and decided at the LAST POOSSIBLY ****ING MOMENT That was when they wanted to go NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PETER CAN'T GOOOOO
Which led to some of the most hilarious boardroom conversation
"But Peter in good conscience and being responsible can't continue his super heriocs with a child on the way and to raise..."
"Then MJ needs to have a miscarriage"
"THERE IS NO WAY IN FROZEN HELL I'M GOING DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE MAN THAT KILLED PETER PARKER'S BABY!"
Secret Origins Month: Green Arrow
And we'll be getting next History of the Power Rangers between the 10th and 15th or so.

That was fast.
The next HOPR will be released on Christmas.
In regard to the movie, I'm surprised that there hasn't been a trailer yet. I guess Lewis wants to keep most of the movie a surprise. All I know about the story is that something goes wrong aboard the Caelestis, and Linkara gathers some of the critics together in order to help him. Beyond that, the rest of the plot is a mystery to me.
As for the new Secret Origins review, what can I say? The review is worth watching for the "Arrowplane" alone.

I just hope it's not required viewing for future story lines.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Heh, I just started watching Arrow, so that review came at a good timing.
Btw, whose origins you guys think he is going to review this year? He said he was focusing on people who have a live action appearance so maybe Green Arrow, Daredevil, Supergirl and Jessica Jones? Maybe Luke Cage instead of Jessica since she is too recent?
You're close. Just replace Jessica Jones with Black Widow and you're spot on.
Oh, I thought he would keep to the TV theme. Seemed appropriate, considering Supergirl and Jessica Jones are currently news and he opened up with Green Arrow.
Also, I didn't realize he had said who he was going to review already.
This month's lineup:
11/2 – More Fun Comics #73 (Green Arrow)
11/9 – Daredevil #1
11/16 – Superman #123/Action Comics #252 (Supergirl)
11/23 – Tales of Suspense #52 (Black Widow)
11/30 – Deadpool Bi-Annual #1 (not part of Secret Origins Month, but the comic is a crossover with Brute Force, so that's... something)

I'm thinking this storyline will explore some of Linkara's hidden fears that were hinted at last year. Namely, that fact that there will always be evil for him to fight, that his enemies could always come back, and all his efforts will be in vain.
I did see some hints within the episode. The cybermats are a Call-Back back to the King of Worms, and when Linkara tries to talk to Nimue, she seems possessed and calls him "Human" (call backs to the Ghost of the Machine & Entity story arcs respectively). I don't know if the fact that Linkara is a fictional character will be addressed at the moment, but we'll see.
