I don't think he is going to make separate revious for Samurai and Super Samurai since it is more of a Mid-Season Upgrade than a proper other installment. The only reason they are making these "Super Seasons" nowadays is due to the format the network is imposing on the show, which forces Saban to effectively cut a season in two, but they are for all effects and purposes the same thing. It would be impractical to make separate reviews for them.
Oh god that was 2 hours of brutalizing.
I didn't expect him to DESTROY Overdrive. Let alone over 20 minutes for Once A Ranger alone.
To Be Updated when I'm not LazyThat w2as even better then I expected. And yeah worst series. Jungle fury, ehh don't know much, but can't wait to see his reaction to RPM.
Next is Jungle Fury, the season everyone forgets exists.
It has the problem of being sandwiched between one of the worst seasons of Power Rangers and one of the best.
And sharing nature theme with Wild Force, a rather unpopular series, and featuring some of the worse costumes. They look like they are a bobsleigh or speed skating team. and being a super bland series. The plot is essentially a mix of Ninja Storm and Wild Force.

Oddly enough, Jungle Fury is one of the few later seasons I actually knew existed already, mostly due to having seen tons of ads for it on Disney XD when it was around.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. There's one thing I found amusing about the adaptation process between Gekiranger and Jungle Fury: Since the writers decided to basically merge Rio and Long into a single character for most of the series, we A. got a bit-more-active-than-usual main villain, and B. Long's more humanoid form was turned into one of the henchmen (Scorch), and C. that's why Dai Shi's final form, despite his name and powers all being lion-themed, was a dragon.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI remember loving Jungle Fury simply because it wasn't Operation Overdrive. I watched every episode.
Did Operation Overdrive get referenced in Jungle Fury? I don't remember if it had or not.
(V)(;,,;)(V)Jungle fury is kind of an island to itself, having no references to past seasons -I believe was part of the mandate just to get Once a ranger made- and was at the time thought to be the last PR season.
I think Jungle fury was were the Disney era finally decided to learn from their mistakes with the issues creeping in slowly since the beginning of Ninja storm and taking to their horrid conclusion in OO.
Jungle fury does what Mystic Force and OO failed to in having a season long arc, and clear character arcs for its main team. I'm not saying JF's perfect but it had something over the previous two

I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Like I just said, it was good because it wasn't Operation Overdrive.
I liked OO over MF
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!I hated both seasons, but I didn't really watch Mystic Force. It's the only season of PR I outright skipped. It didn't even get me interested enough to watch it, so I can't comment on it's quality personally. I did watch Operation Overdrive though. Jesus Christ.... Jesus Christ.

MF has one of the biggest, sweeping epic Narrative backdrops of the entire Franchise
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Okay, so why is worse then Operation Overdrive then?
.
Essentially the Story is alot more interested in the world, Conflict and side characters over the Rangers... save one.
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Still not seeing how it's worse the Operation Overdrive. It seems like for that flaw to have taken place some great amount of effort had to be made in fleshing out the background and narrative to begin with, even at the expense of the chracters. Operation Overdrive had very little effort put into it, it was downright lazy most of the time.

I do prefer MF to OO. While I agree that it often feels like we're following the wrong story (The show seems less interested in the present conflict than the original one), at least MF is better acted. The cast for MF does a good enough job.
I did get a chuckle of Linkara's dig at the Neo-Saban series, about character development going straight into Informed Attribute. I can't agree enough with this. I am looking forward to see his reviews of Samurai and MegadisapointmentForce.

As somebody who has never watched any of the Sentai, is Boukenger worth watching, given all the good things i've heard about it?
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Suspenseful shit keeps happening! And this "King of Worms" sounds like a happy fella.
(V)(;,,;)(V)... The guy from The Elder Scrolls?
King of worms is for some reason a really common creepy title that keeps popping up in multiple places Though admittedly, google fins only Mannimarco
(Also, wait, you haven't followed Linkara's videos lately?)

I forgot about Samurai. Isn't Super Samurai just Samurai anyway?
