Here's the theme to Rhythm Thief, a charming Rhythm/Adventure hybrid for 3DS that Sega decided to send out to die against Theatrhythm a few weeks ago.

Man, I love the entire soundtrack of this game. Between this and Epic Yarn Tomoya Tomita has become one of my favorite video game composers, right up there with Jerry Martin.
haven't heard much from the former, but JSR's soundtrack is epic. Any soundtrack that reminds me of Fatboy Slim is okay with me.
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference. Both of the games tracks represent Shibuya fairly well. Both usually get compared.
I drink 17 cups of coffee in court.Listening to old Sierra On Line musics.
Haven't played Alone In The Dark 5, as I heard it wasn't a very good game, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the soundtrack. It features my favorite female choir and it's very haunting and beautiful. Bonus for the lyrics being in Bulgarian, which means I can understand what a choir in a video game sings for once.
Please don't feed the trolls! The musical score to the climactic conclusion of a young woman's journey to win back the prestige and luxury fitting a highborn woman....
By slapping those above her station.
Do you know of anu really obscure/overlooked video game songs? Share yours here. Let me start out with a few picks of my own.
Slug-for-a-Butt - Earthworm Jim Special Edition Ignore the title of the video; this is the song that plays in the second part of the last level, after the infamous "Use Your Head" sequence. I can see why this song tends to get forgotten, though. It's because it's hard to top the song that plays in the previous section of the level (oh man, dat guitar solo).
Staff Roll - Thunder Force IIIAn unexpected song from a game more renowned for its action-packed songs. This game's final piece has a distinct "farewell" vibe to it.
Sound Test 09 - DarXideFrom the rarest 32X game ever made. That game regularly fetches prices in excess of $1000! Its first gameplay song could be said to start you off in the wrong foot, since it's a rather sad piece that has an air of loneliness to it, which is quite fitting since the game's a space shooter and you're all alone in it.
Title Theme - S.C.A.R.S.This loud piece is as aggressive and in-your-face as many of the animals that have inspired the cars in this game. Really gets you pumped for an otherwise decent but unremarkable kart racer.
You're the Real Ridge Racer! - Ridge Racer RevolutionThe cheerfulness and upbeatness of the first part captures very well that feeling of being on top of the world after you conquer a difficult challnge. The second, quieter part represents relaxing and basking in your newfound glory.
Even though I generally think the Neverwinter Nights series is a bit overrated, I just love the music, particularly the original game music. Jeremy Soule is definitely my favorite composer.
This one's not a Soule composition, but it's my favorite off of the Storm of Zehir expansion. It's perfect when fighting dinosaurs:
Can anyone show me any Japanese rock song? I've noticed that rock songs in Japanese games have this "feel" (especially Sonic and Mega Man) that I can't really place. Can anyone show me a normal J-rock song so that I can compare the styles?
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Pretty much the best killing spree theme in the game!
Probably already mentioned here, but I cannot praise the Metal Gear Rising Revengeance OST enough:
This has already been done, I suppose, but this tune rocks.

So good it needs to be on any future Ultimate Edition release of the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim game.
Meh, my favorite song from that guy will always be this:
Now that was funny. Seems it was also good consumer advice - don't buy Resy Evul 6 unless you want to hammer the buttons and wiggle the sticks.
Mech Warrior 2 soundtrack is awesome. Including the underrated hall themes, which unfortunately are not included in the official soundtrack CD and apparently nobody ripped and uploaded them to the 'Net.
And apparently it is MIDI instead of Redbook audio, since I never could make it sound as good as in the video above in my game.
Isn't really theme music, but BLIND GUARDIAN ARE IN SACRED 2
"I thought Djent was just a band" -Physical StaminaCredits I will sit through everytime because of this song.
