Obviously the goth chick is a representation for indie games, trying to impress the uncaring mainstream audience with an artsy approach here symbolized by the guitar. But the mainstream gamer doesn't even notice her; only obnoxious advertising (the phone) can wake him out of his MW 2 induced torpor, leading him to go out of his way to chase after the newest AAA title just for the siren call of improved graphics (that heart fireworks). When he finally catches up with new-game-chick he is euphoric with all the hype accumulated until this moment but doesn't even get past the tutorial (the hug, obviously) before ditching her again to pursue something equally mindless, emphasizing his shallow and meaningless life.

And the indie game has to cater to furries... or something. That's just fucked up.

The sequels, Pursuit and Escape, are even crazier. Be sure to watch all the RPs.

Hm, an indie game developer is so desperate to attract an audience that he/she begins catering to furries...that could make a funny story...but I'll drop that because it's off-topic.

I don't like Chip and Ironicus' R Ps as much as Slowbeef and Diabetus. Maybe it's because of that Chobits one.

That's weird, I like them better.

Personally, both groups have moments where I disagree with them. Particularly when they delve into the realm of comments in the vein of "this guy has/will have no social life" and "I wish this guy was dead." I think they take Let's Plays a bit too seriously...

On the other hand, I can't say they've never made me laugh, and they have valid points on how LPs should be done (no camcorder/Unregistered Hypercam 2, cut out failed attempts, etc.), so...yeah.
