Sometimes I think it's the people on Newgrounds are either sycophants, or just can't bring themselves to be the bearer of the bad news that the media being looked at isn't good.

At least, the ones that get highlighted. Sturgeon's Law and all that.

I used to be a review mod on Newgrounds, and you'd be surprised how much a review rated lower than 8 or so would be marked as breaking the rules by someone who was butthurt about it.

I think Game Grumps started off pretty good, but as time went on it became less and less about the game and more about Jon and Arin goofing off, shouting catchphrases, acting wacky, and being dicks to each other for the hell of it.

I like both of them on their own, but when they team up it's like they lose all direction. It's great that they're such good friends, but two guys dicking around in a video game and doing nothing just doesn't appeal to me.

Oh my gosh, I was aghast at Metroid Beginings. slowbeef's incredulous reactions to the reviews at the end of the video are hilarious.

I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting Agency

It is so bad that a sort of grandeur creeps into it.

I'm mostly just disappointed at the lack of Ridley, though. AAAA!
