I like the second.
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits. Is this trope about actual knights or the character type of a chivalrous man? The description mentions both, but it is not really clear.A cleanup is necessary depending on what this trope is really about.
Seems to be more about the personality type, IMO. A Knight in Shining Armor who is not good and heroic is just some guy wearing armor.
This is an image picking discussion. Are we ready to vote or do we have more possibilities?
If the trope is about a personality type, I suggest we disqualify all suggestions brought up this far.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.I'm pretty sure it's both at the same time.
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.Okay Artistic Platypus, suppose none of the images yet have been good. Either show us a pic or describe what an ideal one would look like.
Reading the trope description, the trope seems to be about the literal interpretation of the name. I think we have enough good options to make a crowner.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.[1]◊ He's missing the armor, but there's a threat (well, the outer rim of a threat), a sword, and a maiden, so it might work anyway.

Here's that one at 350 px.
That's really pretty much just a generic Heroic dude. No armor, no particular indication of chivalry.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I like 1 and 3.
Current one is not JAFAAC. It's fine, although I'm open to a better one.
Are we ready for a crowner?
A Blood Knight wrestling with the temptation to cuckold his own King?
That last one would go great on Courtly Love, I think it is better than what is there now.
As for Knight In Shining Armour- I like the current one. The armour is incredibly bright, the sword's practically a lightbulb and he's got a saintly halo. I guess the only thing it misses for me is rushing in and saving somebody but I can live without that in exchange for a guy who looks like The Cape:medieval version.
I'm liking St. George.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.Yeah, any picture should show a knight doing something unambiguously heroic.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.
Seconding the like for that St George one.

By the powers invested in me by tabloid-reading imbeciles, I pronounce you guilty of paedophilia! We might never try to change the pic but even if we don't I think there are some images that should be in an image links for the page but I can't find how to create it.
Go to ImageLinks.Knight In Shining Armor, add links to the images, even if they're hosted on the site.
Fight smart, not fair.I like the St. George pic.
Crown Description:
Knight In Shining Armor
What about [1]◊ or [2]◊?
