This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

Second, in regards to what I did wrong, I did indeed spoil a character's name in the header of the character. I am sorry for that. The only possible excuse I can give is not even an excuse; flimsy, not a right thing to do, or just plain weak.

Hi, can I get my suspention lifted? I guess it came from an editing war in the Attack on Titan YMMV page (I'm tempted to ask if the other side also got a suspention, but I suspect I'll not get an answet to that). Anyway, I see that the issue in question has gone to the discussion page anyway, and point taken, I will address my doubts this way in the future.

Uh, hey there, for some reason my editing privileges were suspended just when I was in the middle of editing a new page I had started. Could someone please explain why this happened and pleas lift the suspension so I can resume my editing?

You were edit warring on YMMV.Attack On Titan regarding Moral Event Horizon. There was also questioning as to whether your example and/or the other party's example even qualify. Remember that the trope is for actions that push a villainous character beyond redemption.
This is in regards to WrongGenreSavvy.Western Animation. Just because an entry is on another page does not give you the right to restore an example that you added initially. That is edit warring. Instead, discuss the matter with the user that has removed the entry. Is that understood?

Alright. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to start an edit war. I just thought there was no reason for that user to remove that example. How long will it be before I get my editing privileges back? I was working on this page when the suspension hit me. I had to save the progress I had and was in the process of adding the first examples when it happened.
Anyone, I'm asking nicely, please remove my suspension. I promise I won't directly contradict an edit again. I don't see why I'm being punished so harshly. This was my first offense.
I greatly apologize for edit warring when I didn't mean to. I promise I will try not to do it again. Next time someone erases an edit I make, I will not put it back in without getting a reason it was taken out.
If you would, may the suspension of my editing privileges now be lifted? There are many articles I'd wish to edit, please.

Hi there. I am relatively new here and I've gotten a suspension, so in accordance to the instructions here I am.
So I suppose I'll ask that if somebody wants to talk about my suspension they can PM me.
I have an idea as to why I received this, even if I don't fully understand it. Suppose that will be another thing to discuss with whomever comes to talk to me.
