This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

Hey Fighteer. I know we got off on the wrong foot and I want to sincerely apologize if I came off as rude and/or a jerk. I did not mean it that way and understand that you're just trying to do your job. I would really love to be able to post again as soon as possible, if you would be so merciful, but I will also understand if this is not possible. Worth noting is that we did suspend the other troper that you were concerned about, not that it should matter.

So will I be able to get my ban lifted some day? It doesn't have to be today or tomorrow, I just want to know if I will be able to be on Tvtropes some time in the future.
Oh, and excuse me for the spelling mistakes in my last post. It's quite difficult to keep my spelling flawless when I am trying to post something quickly (I was on a cyber at the moment).

Sorry, was at work. But yes. I am genuinely apologizing asking for forgiveness. Again, I will understand if you do not wish to lift the suspension, as I know you are just doing your job. This apology also applies to those P Ms, which I promise you weren't intended to be nasty or rude at all. If they offended you or made you feel bad at all then I am deeply and truly sorry for that, as it wasn't my intention. Ultimately, I just wish to appeal to you in the hopes you may find it in your heart to allow me to redeem myself.
What should I do to prove that I have improved in grammar and to remove the suspension? It would be good if instead of writing, I simply correct the wrong tropes and alphabetize them? It is sad not to be able to intervene seeing several mistakes in the pages.

Is there any way I could prove the PM incident won't happen again?
I promise to never snap at nobody through PMs or the threads, even if that person offended me. It all really happened due to a misunderstanding that both I and Zorua had anyways.
I also promise to not twist anyone's words, or try harder (I have been trying to be consistent with the use of "seems" and "it looks like" and the like instead of outright accusing people when I don't have the full details, but I'll have to find another way) and to not make it look like I want to own the Pantheon Thread since it was never my intention to look like that.
Please, please, please, I just want to PM n3xus. I really miss him and I want to talk to him again and I really do need to apologize to him for what happened in the thread.

We have lots of ways to do that, including the article's Discussion tab (if you use this, leave an edit reason directing people there), private messages to the troper(s) involved, Ask The Tropers, and these forums.

I realize I was suspended for erasing that message about not adding "And the Fandom Rejoiced" to YMMV pages.
Well, first of all I want to apologize for adding it in the first place. I admit I forgot to check out the page itself, and didn't see the "don't link it to the wiki" message. Yeah, that oversight was my fault.
As for deleting the "Don't add And the Fandom Rejoiced to the wiki" message... I don't really have an excuse other than I wasn't thinking when I did it. (Where I live, it was late at night when I made that edit.) Once again, sorry. I promise I'll be more careful from now on.
Alright, we'll do this in steps. I'll release your general forum suspension, but leave Forum Games blocked for a week. Send a PM when that's up, since you won't be able to post in this topic.
For what it's worth, if Undertale has a sandbox style protagonist (in other words, it can be played in any desired manner), then it cannot qualify as an archetype of any given trope and thus any attempt to put it there is most definitely a shoehorn. I'll notify the thread.
