This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

One thing you definitely messed up on was editing the Complete Monster entries on YMMV.Ninja Scroll and YMMV.The Good The Bad And The Ugly. CM entries go through their dedicated cleanup thread for all edits and additions, no exceptions.

I completely understand why I have been banned. I was a little too argumenative. I apologize and aknowledge that I was in the wrong in the very subject I was arguing about. I realize that if someone is removing my edits, then it's for good reason, and I should try to understand that reasoning before jumping to conclusions. Cross my heart, it won't happen again if you unban me. So... please?
Hello moderators. I'm not entirely sure why my edit privileges were suspended, but I believe it has to do with my edit summaries on the Hyrule Warriors page sounding too harsh. I realize that while I was annoyed, I got carried away and sounded overly pissed off. I'll be careful about it in the future, so could you please reinstate my edit privileges? And if the edit summaries on the Hyrule Warriors page weren't the reason I got suspended, could you please tell me what was the actual reason, so I can stop doing it and improve myself? (Also, sorry if the grammar and/or punctuation is a bit off, English isn't my native language)

Aldo930 I've restored everything except the forum block. Unfortunately, that does mean that seeing the forums while logged in is still blocked as well. But I'm reducing the length of the block to one wee. Remind me here, next week Monday (the 21st) and I';ll lift it.
Net_Bastard: It appears after you were banned for your little outburst, you made a sock to ban-evade. That would be what got you in enough hot water to be blocked completely. A block doesn't mean "make a new account" it means "come talk to us; something needs to be addressed."
The wiki-block for your little spate of anger would probably have been lifted, if you'd come here to appeal. But ban-evading is a lot more difficult to talk your way out of... Have a go at it, but it will have to be extraordinarily convincing.
dmeagher101: Looks like back in March you added a Fridge Logic entry on the page for Star Wars:Revenge of the Sith right underneath an admin notice to not add Fridge Logic entries at all. Think you can follow the rules from here on out?

Chi, you were warned exactly what that course of behaviour would cause to happen, and you kept going anyway. There was a mod post, that you saw telling you not to derail things again.

Two reasons, both tied to the Dark Messiah page. First, putting Lenin up as the page pic despite the page being tagged as NRLEP. Second, and more importantly, ignoring the commented-out tag to start a thread in IP about the page before adding a new pic.

Yes, um, I just discovered today that I got my editing privileges suspended, probably for an edit that I did on the Bad Writing Index, and I wanted to say that I completely forgot about the discussions page. I didn't know that I seemed like I was forcing my opinion down people's throats, I just wanted to make my case. You have managed to continue to break the forum rules while banned. As such, it is clear you have no intention of obeying them. Your forum ban stands indefinitely, as does your PM ban.

I was suspended for a slight vandalization. I was making fun of this website in one of the articles. I wrote "This is why Something Awful hates you." in one of the pages. I realize what I have done wrong and it will not happen again.
