According to spoilers that I've picked up, the guy who is providing Mana for all the Servants is actually the homunculus guy. So he technically isn't a Master. (The only non-Yggdramillenia Master on Team Black is Reika) But aside from that, him being a cool guy who is treated unfairly to the point where even the Servants are all "dude, that is not cool" and try to bust him out? Hmm. Could be interesting.

So Copy Siegfried was actually one of the Team Black Masters taking his form? How odd. I wonder which one he was, and why his Servant wasn't fighting alongside him (assuming it wasn't the fat guy)

Black Berserkers master Caules Forvedge is the one who was allowed to join under special circumstances as a he is a magus of average skill.

Oh, that reminds me, here is something that I don't think I've ever had made clear: Are the Yggdramillenia all related, or are they just an organization? I know that at least two of them are siblings and all.

Well, yes, I know they all have the last name "Yggdramillenia" but eh.

Is he the homonolucus? I am horribly confused by the names of Black Masters and the info is too scattered to connect the dots when you have no idea who is who.

I think it was stated in one of the info tidbits that most of them are adopted: ie. various Magi from different families that are allowed to wear the Yggdramillenia name.

The Homunculus is just named Homunculus. You can tell he is a Homunculus pretty easily, as he has similar physical traits to the Einzbern Homunculi.

In that case, I wouldn't be surprised if the only "true" Yggdramillenia was Danik. Ah well.

Their middle names are what their surnames used to be before joining up and forming the Yggdmillenia clan.

Ah, really? Huh.

Someone mentioned in the spoiler thread that Sieg is already dead. Homunculus nearly died while escaping, Sieg then gave him his heart and died.

Hmm. That explains why one of the Masters is imitating him then. It would make Team Black look weak if it became known that not only did one of their Servants up and die, but they died due to what amounts to problems and in fighting within the group.

It's pretty obvious that the Sieg they have now is fake though.

I wouldn't be surprised if Team Red knows that Copy Siegfried is fake (in fact, I am almost certain they do), but not why a fake one is there or what happened to the real one.

...That's alot of plot induced weakening just to get rid of Seig for the first book.

Though I guess they couldn't pull a Gilgamesh -his to vain and self important to take the fight seriousily, and Karna's already got the Aloof and doesn't fight at his strongest unless he has too-

So Seig's either Crippled, "Deadish" or in Limbo.

Gordes -Fat guy and the Reason real Seig doesn't talk- is an alchemist supposely on par with the Einzbern. Most likely suspect in creating Homuculus -so his named after the bad guy from FMA- Seeing thats his set up as a Jackass, Homuculus's ****** set up makes sense.

I don't think Homunculus is actually named Homunculus. He is a Homunculus. I think they just didn't name him because they were just going to use him as a mana battery for the Servants and didn't think of him as a person.

... The guys at Spacebattles' Nerve Damage thread are going to have a conniption fit once they hear of this. They're already upset that George got cut and that Shiro's been... whatever the hell was done to him.

To be fair, Siegfried doesn't talk, is hard as shit to kill (on that note, is also redundant with Achilles now), wasn't actually finished before work on the novel began...

I think the main thing he had going for him was that he looked pretty awesome.

His legend is awesome. I mean, a dragon slayer who is Nigh-Invulnerable, and he's from the same people as the Vikings are, meaning it's not farfetched to think that could go into a Viking-style Unstoppable Rage.

The Fact Seigfried is one of the principle Epic heroes with aspects of the Saga's clearly being lifted into Arthurian Lore. IE Gilgamesh has Caliburn cause it's based on the Sword in the Tree, The Sword Siegfried's Father pulls to start his adventure

Him and Karna seemed the most set up being the Strongest. IE Saber with Avalon clashing with Gilgamesh.

Though yeah Throwing in Achilles at the last minute just kinda over does it on Invinceble heroes... Though Achilles feels more like his there to be Herc, Red Team's obvious Juggernaught for the black team to overcome and then Karna shows up and starts taking the fight seriousily

Yes, I know the mythical Siegfried was awesome and all. What I mean is, Siegfried the Servant didn't really leave much to work with.

Karna is also on Team Red.

Also, let's be honest, Team Red is just plain cooler. The only cool black Servants Are Sieg and Vlad and one of them dies quickly. All the Sevants that people complain about the most (Jack, Frankenmoe, Hiron) are in black team. Meanwhile Red team has Mordred, Karna, Spartacus etc.

Oh, yes, her too. Also Atalanta.
