Basically, she says that the Church considers her (as she says it) the daughter of a whore because her mother wasn't married to Kotomine. She was locked up in a church as a little kid by a priest who officially adopted her but refused to educate her because, again, daughter of a whore thing. When she proved so super awesome pious she eventually moved into a monastery where she wasn't allowed to become a nun, and then eventually joined the Church as an exorcist's assistant because she was really good at finding demons, though she's useless at actually exorcising them.
She did hire a tutor to teach her to play the organ, but I don't remember her ever going to school. Oh, but her no pants outfit is based off a school uniform that she modified to be sexier and to have easier movement.

New official art of F/HA PSV by Takeuchi Takashi. Horray Bazett fanservice.
It's as if the Church was trying its damn best to make her a traitor to their cause.
But she's super utterly perfectly faithful and altruistic. Also a masochist.

Which is weird, because she is probably the most devout Church member we've seen. Of course, that backstory does raise the question of if it is true piousness or if she is using belief in God and His love as "salvation" from her traumatic past.
Maybe I am reading too much into it though.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.She would probably tell you no with complete sincerity. I don't think she cared about being denied an education and used for menial labor.
REJOICE.
Wait, is that Illya's Shirou, or Miyu's Shirou?
Because if that's Illya's Shirou.....YEEESSSSSS.
I would assume it's Miyu's as he's actually not too far away from where they are all fighting.
Well, he's in the same world, but that's closer to Ilya's Shirou.
One Strip! One Strip! Not to mention Illya's Shirou shouldn't be anywhere ready for a fight of this caliber.
Then again, that rarely stopped him in canon, but it's still probably Miyu's Shirou.
One Strip! One Strip! So, aside from Shirou projecting Berserker's sword and probably getting ready to unleash Nine Lives Blade Works on some poor schnook, what am I looking at?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Exactly that, and do you really need anything else?
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI meant what series.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Ilya. It's a magical girl-themed spinoff of F/SN.
Also, speaking of F/SN, I'm watching Carnival Phantasm again and that little skit with Soichirou and Caster got me thinking. If Caster's good luck charm was potent enough to net Soichirou ten million yen and a trip to Hawaii as well as strike Lancer down with fucking lightning (on a sunny day) for even thinking of harming him, then... why the fuck does Caster never use this skill? Why don't other Casters ever use this skill?
I mean, it's clearly potent enough to intervene even with Servants like Lancer (yes he probably would've been killed somehow anyway, but), but she never uses it in canon to protect Soichirou. Do Servants with high ranks in Luck negate probability interference phenomenon as well as grant the Servant good fortune? If so, then the only ones who should be able to counteract Caster's charms anyway would be Saber, since her skill in Item Creation is A.

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialTake in mind CP is a highly parodic universe. Take anything it says or shows with several grains of salt.
Umm... I don't think anything in Carnival Phantasm is meant to be taken seriously in the slightest....
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Still though, they never take anything completely out of context. A lot of the Servant skills that weren't properly explored in the novel are the sources of gags in CP, like Charisma. So even if it's exaggerated, there must be some basis in fact.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serial^ In which case I can completely confirm that item creation lets you create items.
What kind of items though? The skill is self-explanatory, and while we do get a cursory mention of Caster making potions of immortality (which also never show up in the story because holy shit hax), nothing about what the skill is capable of is ever adequately explained. So we must rely on what secondary material exists.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialLimited immortality. Presumably the kind of thing that would eventually turn you into a Dead Apostle.
Anyway, the fact that the skill is so poorly defined is probably why Carnival Phantasm wanted to have fun with it. They could just make shit up completely.
If Carnival Phantasm doesn't take anything completely out of context then how do you explain Bersercar?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! With that said, I am kinda sad that EXTRA was still kinda not a thing (at most, Tange Saber cameos in order to basically advertise it) because I am sure they would have had a ball with stuff like Tange Saber's vague "can do anything temporarily" skill.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.
Do tell?
Also, what are the Hortensias anyway? Because of the uniform thing, I kinda just assumed they were French, but does it ever come up, or are they just vague "European"?
