I do not like the Final Fantasy series. There, I said it.
The whole idea of going around looking for weapons, wasting your time, just so you can beat the next boss and play the game is infuriating. Plus, the ones with random encounters and drops are just stupid.
I want to earn my happy ending, but I don't want to put in 100x the effort that Old Pete did just because the item didn't bloody DROP. That's less of a Final Fantasy thing though, and moving more into MMORPG's. Still, its moronic that I have to spend a net of 5-7 hours doing boring grinding instead of actually having fun with bosses and other enemies who require strategy and provide, you know, a fun game experience.
Oh, and if I see one more bat-type enemy, especially in groups, I will put down the controller.
Be humane. As You Know, I have just finished FFVIII.
Getting back into Suikoden II.
One of my friends is convinced that a Kirby game for the Wii was already released in Japan. No it hasn't!
Yeah, unfortunately for those of us who enjoyed Crystal Shards.:(
I wonder why it isn't, is Sakurai too afraid of money and success?
Technically, it has. As well as everywhere else.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Oh yeah...but still!
I'm pretty much with Brutal, although I did enjoy Tactics Advance.

Looks like a remake of Kirby 64 to me.

[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.^ Given that Kirby 64 doesn't have the Sword power, or any of the enemies portrayed there, or any levels that look like those, or any of those powers... My guess would be, "probably not."
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaIt's also the same "Kirby Gamecube" trailer that's been floating around since the E3 of, I think, 2005, So Yeah.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaLooks rather underwhelming.

I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life!Been binging on Borderlands. All I have to say is this: Goddamn Spiderants.
I just beat Professor Layton And The Curious Village yesterday after completing about 116 of the puzzles.
I thought it was fun; the characters were likable, the writing was good, and the puzzles for the most part were very interesting. A couple of them were just stupid though (ARGH, that Chocolate Code one! That was the only puzzle where I had to look up the solution to online!).
As for the story... I guess I can see why the major twist would be a Wall Banger for some ( it was definitely anachronistic; isn't this supposed to be early to mid-twentieth-century Europe? How could anybody make robots that are capable of feelings... or at all, for that matter?) Personally, I didn't mind that much—there were quite a few hints dropped, and it was pretty cool that they actually justified why everyone was asking you to solve puzzles. All in all, I thought it resolved itself nicely in the end.
The only thing I'd complain about is that the exploration parts were kinda boring, but it's not like that was a big part of the game, so it didn't drag the game down too much. I'm planning on buying Diabolical Box in the future. How does it compare to the first game?
Chapter 5 in Resonance Of Fate so far. I really enjoy the battle system. It's essentially Valkyria Chronicles with Gun Fu.
Sadly, the story seems really lacking so far. Funny, though.

Cutscenes in later Professor Layton games clearly show buildings built in the early 2001's. Even if you ignore that, the second game has a character into classic rock music. For the most part, I think "when" with regards to Layton games is a question probably better off unasked.

Has anybody here played echoshift yet? I've played a few puzzles, and I'm starting to get the hang of it. Puzzle A3 says that an ideal solution can be reached using four Casts, but I managed to get through with just two. The blocks seem to behave like Boos...if you aren't facing them, they'll attack you, but if you are, they'll stop. (They also freeze if any of your previous Casts are facing them).
I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life!-is in the middle of Archive Binge-ing a playthrough of Billy Hatcher And The Giant Egg-
Still trying really hard to get into Left 4 Dead after picking up the second game on a sale. Maybe I just need to find the right people to play with, or the right custom campaigns...
