Working my way through Air Fortress right now. Currently on Level 6 of the Second Quest. Strangely, getting to the reactor is actually a lot EASIER than the First Quest. Finding the Only Escape, on the other hand, not so much.

Of course, after the lame, Ghosts N Goblins esque non-ending the game gave me for the First Quest, I'm now determined to beat it just out of spite.

I am stupidly excited for Monster Rancher DS (which is really MRDS 2) to come out Stateside. I have been saving my Christmas money for it. And it will be awesome.

@Freezair: As am I. I've been waiting for a while for a new MR game, as I haven't played one since MR 3.

4 was actually pretty good. EVO wasn't bad, but it's... weird. It's not very Monster Rancher-y at all. It's... something, but it's hard to say what that something is.

Oolite is proof that I am a masochist. It's slow-paced, slow to reward, and prone to teaching me the pain of docking failure. But I CAN FLY ANYWHERE.

So, what have you guys been playing recently? I've rediscovered some old PC games, mainly Zoo Tycoon 2  ^*

. We also have a bunch of Backyard Sports games, but I have yet to replay those. It's become apparent that we bailed out from that series right before it went downhill. Lucky us?

Most recently, Team Fortress 2 and Torchlight. I will also possibly be playing Muramasa: The Demon Blade or Disgaea 3 imminently. I have plans to play some other things just as soon as they're released and/or shipped here in the near future.

Me? I've been cruising the streets of Oahu in Test Drive: Unlimited. I just got the "Explorer" achievement and the house that comes with an observatory-like telescope. I also recently got Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. I wish I had gotten into the series sooner.

EDIT: I thought we had Geography Sidequest.

There are also a couple of Mario games I need to finish— 5 Power Stars and 7 Star Coins away from 100% Completion. Speaking of the latter, I had a bit of Fridge Brilliance regarding the title: it's a Stealth Pun on (New) Super Mario Bros 3.

Both loving and hating Metal Gear Solid 4 at the moment. Maybe I shouldn't have started on Hard.

Question. What is the chronology of the Kingdom Hearts games? (Or rather, where do the DS & PSP games fit in?) All I know at the moment is KH -> KH:COM -> KH 2, and even then I'm only fairly sure. :/

If I recall correctly, it is:

BBS —> KH —> 358/2 —> COM —> 358/2 —> KH 2

358/2 is on both sides of COM? How does that work? (without spoiling 358/2)

COM and 358/2 happen around the same time.

I forgot how fun God Of War could be. Playing through the second one for the first time.

I think the Zoo Tycoon page needs some Wiki Magic; it has a long description, but not a lot of tropes...

Hmm. The story of White Knight Chronicles sucks, but I love the characters.

Why hasn't Konami released the first NES Contra for Virtual Console despite having Super C and Contra III: The Alien Wars? I probably could just get Contra 4 to play the game (even though there would be no 2-player mode), but it's a puzzling absence.
