You kinda have a case of Herioc Bystander Protagonist

Everybody else moves the plot, you witness it.

Midgardsormr even calls you out on that. Not that it'll matter in the end.

Yes it is an upgrade. No more bulky ass armor to wear him down. Also, Derplander is a Warrior since he wear its AF armor set.

It doesn't matter, since it's not like he's going to DODGE or anything. LOLDRG!

Personal flying chocobos confirmed! That's a relief - I was hoping you weren't forced to use a black generic one as your "starter" flyer.

Patch 2.56 is out:

• Final Coil is now queueable solo and in progress.
• iLvl restrictions have been imposed; T13's is apparently just enough to have a 135 weapon, full 130 left side, and 110 accessories (which are bis when pentamelded)
• 10% Echo.
• The drop rate for ponies has been increased again. Didn't see that one coming.

Found a clever touch while tending the garden yesterday.

When the weather's clear you use a watering can you pull out of your ass. When it's raining the animation swaps to kind of miscellaneously groping the ground.

I can't wait for the benchmark. I plan to get wed in game with a friend but we're holding off until I decide if I want to be an Au Ra or not.

It's coming out on Monday (midnight PST), it runs a bunch of scenes to score your computer on how well it can run the game (Direct X 11 support is coming) and comes with the character creator including Au Ra so people can play with it. A similar program came out before 2.0.

Well, after a break to play Bloodborne and scratching a bit of Destiny itch, I am back in this game. Got up to the bit where it warns you of lengthy cutscenes. How long are we talking here exactly? I've heard it's over an hour.

There are two cases where you get that warning and both add up to over an hour or more.

Hang on, they add up to an hour in total, or an hour each? Either way, I guess there's kind of a break in it somewhere then, if you get two warnings.

I'd say in between, I can't remember exactly. Either way, if you get RMT spam or other nonsense from bots, best to set yourself in /busy mode so you can block all sounds while you watch the cut scenes.
