Funny, but it's not really progressing anything.
Still, if you're going to pad, you might as well make it funny.

I'll take funny but pointless over The ambiguously lesbian duo, Slick in LS Dland and the amazing tales of Lord Peckerhead. Least this is genuinely funny and I don't hate the characters. Yet.
And this just went from cute little joke to borderline creepy.
This makes me cringe.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Crosses the line twice for me. It's so screwed up and borderline dark that I find it kind of silly.
Yes, I have a weird sense of humor.

I found it funny. Sure, it canbe creepy but I have seen this joke often enough to realize that it's actually a joke.
At least I decide to take it as a joke.
I place this in the same category of jokes as "... and the moral of the story is, taxes are eternal, rob a bank and kill your mother-in-law" ending to even to the most mundane explanation of daily events.

I found it slightly amusing until I noticed she was talking about two men. Then it just became creepy segregated gender violence to me.
Can't have a woman hating another woman can we now, Tats! Only evil penis demons are allowed to be hated and/or murdered!
edit: And he made sure the robots were referred to as hit-WOMEN. Somehow that just rubs me the wrong way. Like icing on some shitty gender infested cake.

Well, Hit-MEN would sound more like a job description, wouldn't it?
"Hitwomen" is an actual word, though.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Yes I know it's a word. It's just that Tats has been drawing my eye towards everything even mildly related to gender and he somehow insists on using the "correct" label. He could just as easily have used killers, assassins or guns for hire. The surprised lady from the store immediately going for "hit-woman" sounds a little too thought out for me.
I mean if you want to get technical, really they are automatons in the shape of a woman, so I don't even agree on the designation "woman" in this case.
It's probably just me being extra nitpicky, but the segregation of the genders in something purely good and something irredeemably evil is something that keeps popping up in Sinfest in a myriad of ways. I even see it in minor shit like this and I really can't give Tats the benefit of the doubt anymore.
Segregating good and evil as per gender is not, unfortunately, Sinfest exclusive... Sinfest is just more painful example, because it's (or at least tries to be) a story, bot a "critique of patriarchy in stories"
The funny thing is that the saleslady is actually correct: They are hitwomen (contract killers who typically do not seek notoriety for their killings), rather than assassins (independent or contracted killers who, while usually having a "higher cause" behind their killings, also seek to attain infamy through said acts).

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Though in general hit(wo)men just go for the kill. Collateral damage acceptable.
Assassins try to only kill the target and preferably without anyone knowing who did it.

When we last left our Ambiguously Lesbian Duo, they've found themselves in the Devil's Lair…literally! And now that D-man's back, if the girls make one wrong move, things will REALLY heat up for them!
…Not that anyone will complain.
Yep. Despite the fact she did just about everything she could, Baby Blue's gonna get in trouble.
Ok, that was funny.
Wow. Instead of jumping to conclusions he is actually checking what happened while Blue was in command before passing judgement? How is this guy evil again?
Well, it always serves to check that you're coming down like a ton of bricks on the right person.
Yeah, Bad Boss the D-Man ain't. He wants to set an example in competency to his underlings.
... Which, of course, is undermined by the huge security hole known as The Obligatory Outside-of-Building Plug.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Basically, unless when Tat's decides to have D-Man fire Blue for no reason, he will know that Blue was on top of it, working on it and some idiots fucked up, not Blue.

Said idiots consisting of literally everyone else in the Patriarchy except Blue.
Yes, I'm including the D man himself in this one. He has to authorize the designs of these buildings and yet he keeps putting those hacker sockets outside the buildings without any guards.
I...
Hmm...
It wasn't even filler.
What was that?
I'd call it stalling honestly.
