Uh. Are you counting credits for the classes you're taking next? Because they add up as you go through each semester and it sounds like you're only counting this semester's credits.
I just found out that I most likely only have to take one actual final exam this semester.
<><
Same here! I'M SO EXCITED!
Of course, this means that I have to write 5 essays (one class has 2 finals) on top of study for the one exam. Is that what you're doing, too?
fortiter in re, suaviter in modo2 term papers, one presentation, one exempted on account of my already-good grade, and one take-home open book test (that last one not yet quite committed to by the professor, hence "most likely").
<><I'm not sure what you mean. I'm saying that adding the credits I need to satisfy my GER and the credits I need for my major and subtracting the number from 120 leaves only 7 credits of general electives to take.
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!Oh, I see. What's the problem with only needing 7 gen-ed classes?
he can't fulfill the requirements for a minor or second major with only seven credit-hours

"Teebs is a total grump, but he's usually right." - NLKWhat, he can't just go over the requirements? Or is it there a cap on the credits a student can take?

"Teebs is a total grump, but he's usually right." - NLKAh.
Why would you want a minor or double-major to begin with?
Edit: You know, this sounds so different from my college's system that I'll probably be hopelessly confused anyway, so I'm just going to back out.

Here's the layout of my college's remains...
Inbound Monday: Pop test on the British Literature on the reading... along with one freebie studying of Economics.
Inbound Wednesday: Final exam of Marketing to be taken on... along with turning in the Psychology's take home final exam.
Next Monday: Finals for British Literature AND Economics.
Battle plan: Study like mad on the British Literature... That's what's going to be my big "Iffy" class this semester.
Any questions?
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by EdveedI'm so tired of this semester.

I have to say one thing, this semester has been the most fun i have ever had, and so much has changed. :)

You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat! So your school only allows financial aid based on unit count, even if you're not actually done?
Well, I'm not sure about federal Pell Grants, but New York State's tuition assistance program stops paying out once you go over the amount of credits needed to graduate.
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!Where I am, need-based aid quits at about half again the amount needed for a degree (so about 180 credit hours), but merit-based aid only covers up to 127 credit hours. I think they do this to prevent the "career student" phenomenon: people who game the system, get good grades, and live off their financial aid while never really attempting to graduate.
<><I'm now an alumnus for my college, bar a few finals.note
I now go by Graf von Tirol.Congratulations! Do well on those finals.
Hosently Im just surprised you have graduation ceremony. I never got one.

hashtagsarestupidI just sent off most of my university applications. Still working on the last one, though. Bleh.
I finished revising everything for my comic storytelling final.
It turned out really crappy but IT IS FINISHED. TWELVE PAGES, FUCKER.
2/5 classes done.
For next semester I'm thinking of taking ballet since I miss it and need exercise. Or possibly beginning art since I want to learn to draw properly.
In the short term, it's surprising how little effort research papers take when you actually enjoy them. I decided to write about how one might be able to grow enough vegetables for self sufficiency or not (since politics is a very sensitive topic), and I'm actually using more sources than necessary.
Exam week. Sitting here trying to write old exam tasks for practice. It's hard, but at least it will lessen the shock for the coming Thursday.

so it looks like between fulfilling my GE requirements and my major, I'll only have 7 credits before going over the 120 credits I need for graduation (therefore losing most financial aid). that isn't even enough for a minor, let alone any kind of major :(
poopy :(
