Emi is just as wild....more so in a certain arena too! She is very passionate about most aspects of life. I'd say the two 'fun' routes were Lilly and Emi with Shizune falling somewhere inbetween because of Lilly's involvement with Hanako a distant fourth and Rin coming depressingly last, holy crap Rin....

Emi's not so much wild as adventurous, I find. Not so much letting loose as exploring possibilities.

Isn't Emi outwardly adventurous in order to hide her fear of true intimacy?

That she doesn't really take risks and just fakes it.

So because she has a different motivation, her exploring other things isn't exploring other things?

Because she's doing it in a very safe, deliberate way.

You used the word adventurous originally. Adventure is supposed to contain an element of risk. You're exploring the unknown, but Emi is just thrill seeking.

Just finished Emi's route today and got the good ending. I'm proud of myself.

Just an FYI I'm still uploading weekend videos of my blind playthrough of this game. For those not in the know, I'm following Lilly's route and let's just say I'm in Act 3 where a few steamy moments happen. Hopefully my reactions are worth it to some!

Why French?

Because I'm learning French. I'll watch pretty much anything if it's in French to practice.

German would also be acceptable.

I don't know French and I'm limited in my German so I'm sorry I can't be of much help there. :(

P.P.S I noticed your video description says that the game was "made by 4chan", which is a common misconception. The initial idea for the game was spurred by discussion on 4chan, but the actual development of the game was done by an independent team formed for the purpose over the course of many years.

I'm currently doing Rin's route if anyone is interested to know. I'm liking it so far.

I think Rin's route is the darkest and most frustrating. Which mirror's Hisao's feelings in a sort of meta way.

Rin's route is also the only one where I didn't get the best ending on the first try.

I found Rin's route the worst relative to the girl, but the best relative to Hisao.

SPOILERS FOR RINS ROUTE BWOOP BWOOP*

I (personally) think that Rin's route is the best one. Not only because it frames a character archetype in a way that implicates some of the real issues with the personality type (Which is something I'd never seen before in a love interest, which is so cool to me) but it's also the only route in which the good ending is not indicative of complete happiness. In many ways I find it far more tragic than even Hanako's route is (At the very least Hanako can explain her feelings, But Rin really just isn't able to).

Anyway, onto the ending.

Yes, Rin is a little bit happier in the end than she is towards the climax (that isn't supposed to be a—look, I'm talking about plot arcs, okay?) but there is still the implication of even greater trials to come.

I disagree with the notion that Hisao came out on *top* of that relationship. I've gone through it a couple times, and by the end of everything Hisao seems kind of shaken by the experience and Rin is torn down and rebuilt.

To be honest, I'm surprised she doesn't commit suicide, given the foreshadowing with the talk about the previous student and Rin's talk about wanting to destroy herself.

But props to 4LS for avoiding that cliche.
