Lilly's route? Just aim for Hanako again, only this time answer at the end of Act 1 that you'd rather go into town than hang around the school. The correct answers should be easy in context.

A good way to get the feels on Shizune's route is to put yourself in Misha's shoes instead of Hisao's.
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams!Definitely a good idea. A good idea to ruin the path is to just ignore that Misha is a big part of it. For me, she was the highlight of it. She was actually the single reason why I did that path first.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. She was the only reason I could stand that path at all.
It's funny, but I didn't really care about Misha much.
Which is why that was my least-favorite route. :P
Same here. I don't hate Shizune but she was my least favorite heroine( she was too bossy IMO) and her route wasn't really interesting, Misha and Jigoro kept that route interesting.
"I don't like your sweater and I want you to feel bad about it."
My hatoful Monster Girlfriend is the President Ecstasy: Higurashi After in Summer (All ages memorial edition)I actually liked Shizune, but I felt her route didn't do her justice. Part of any good story, even a slice-of-life one, is telling a meaningful narrative (rather than simply portraying a series of events), and Shizune's route failed miserably at doing this. The only parts where it picked up were the ones involving Misha.
First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.I didn't mind her bossiness, but I found her too untrustworthy to be really likeable. Or at least, not someone to date.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.I don't have a problem with people who have take-charge, commanding sort of personalities, but my main issue with Shizune is that she's fairly inconsiderate.
That said, not liking her didn't prevent me from enjoying the route.
...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back.Hello considering that I have done some much work on the Tropes page (I even made a page for a KS fanfic of all things). I tend to be a bit of Shizune fan. I think that her route is a lot better than it gets credit for. It requires allot of reading between the lines in order to truly get and even a re-watch or two. While she is a little strong, she does mean well and only wants to make everyone's time at Yamaku as enjoyable as possible. Anyone who goes out of their way to try and cheer up at total stranger (which is what Hisao was at the beginning) can't be that bad.
One thing I didn't like about Shizune's route was that they basically break up at the end. It's more realistic than the TRUE LOVE FOREVER in say, Lilly's route, but c'mon!

Hmm... realized something about Misha's nickname for Shizune. "Shi" can mean "four", so Shicchan = shi + chan = four + chan = 4chan?
Probably a coincidence, but still amusing.
Are you thinking of the good end or the bad end?
In the last scene of the good end, the trio does talk about how they should meet again soon, in a way that implies they'll be apart for a while. There's nothing to say that they won't get back together again when they do meet up, though.
@Enthryn: Not bad, well noticed.
The good end.
Yeah, that's true. Still, it felt like a bit of a downer.

I thought of something while reading the Ranma 1/2 thread, what if Mousse and Kenji met? Especially given the culture of powerful amazons that Mousse comes from, too.
If Kenji avoids saying anything that sounds like an insult towards Shampoo, he might well survive the encounter.
I think they would miss each other. Or walk into each other. Pick one.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. So, they would miss each other if there was a purpose of them actually meeting. Otherwise they'd smash.

Rin's route is tricky to get into. You basically have to not get too close to any of the other characters to get her route. (And at the same time avoid the MANLY PICNIC.)
