The author of that article is an idiot. No, in the art book celebrating the series' 25th anniversary they should not include the terrible, shitty looking trilogy of acknowledged-to-be-unofficial games. That would be stupid.

Eh, a small mention saying that Aonuma doesn't really find them important and they're not canon would have been perfectly fine.

It still used many Nintendo-created characters. Small mentions of anything that isn't fanmade only would make sense for Hyrule Historia. That includes the Cartoons and various Comics. Explaining their canonicity or otherwise makes perfect sense to me and really isn't stupid at all. Hey, if he(Aonuma) acknowledged their existence, he had every right to give a small mention.

He had a good point. Glad some of the more reasonable comments pointed out the difference between the CD-i and Capcom-made games. Nintendo didn't purposely agree to work with Phillips after a while. They were forced to. Keep in mind, it makes sense for Nintendo to not like the games at all. Whether Aonuma does or not is an entirely different story, however.

I've heard you can now give Carlov multiple photos to make statues of per night, rather than one at a time.

THAT'S far more important an improvement than quadrupling the camera's capacity. Going back and forth between Forest Haven and wherever you were photographing wasn't a chore, but having to go in and out of the studio to play the song of passing twice for every photograph was.

Thank goodness. I mean, the Photo stuff was fun, but tedious. I like these kind of improvements. Then again, what re-release didn't have some kind of improvement anyway? Graphics? Glitches removed. Etc.

While I'm waiting for the retail version of Wind Waker HD I found out Link can take selfies.

It's an awful word that people need to stop using. Photographs like that have existed for decades, but some tween girl somewhere decided to make what she was doing sound "cute" and now everyone makes it sounds stupid.

That applies to pretty much everything named by the Internet-Users. Reading fandom-names like "Furries" or similar stuff makes me want to strangle those people responsible for coining and spreading these names.

"Furries" is not a word you're going to hear in everyday life. But everyone and their grandmother is saying "selfie" and it makes me want to strangle something.

Ok, good point there, but still, the mere existence of that "phenomenom" is stupid, regardless of what forms and usages it appears in.

I agree it's a stupid phenomnomnom, anyways. And I know they've been around for a while, but whatever. I'm going to use the self-shot feature as a world-tour thingy, anyways. Make a goddamn postcard or two.

I myself hate how people in my city speak, but I've had no option to let them speak the way they want, Sometimes we have to stop being selfish.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that Tingle Statues are still available in TWW HD, despite the removal of Tingle Tuner.

...What did they replace the Tingle Tuner with? There has to be a compensation for those items you could only get if you had it.

I myself missed some stuff because I didn't have the tuner.

Gah. I'm stuck in dragonroost cavern. I can't figure out the controls for placing an item in front of you. I need to place that magtrail on that switch to get the boss key

Selfie may sound stupid, but it's a perfectly legit word that's fairly useful. That it's not a new thing is irrelevant.
