I think I just found a minor plot hole in "Tears of the Kingdom": In the shrine quest where you have to infiltrate a Yiga hideout and deliver bananas to the frog statues around the Gerudo Canyon area, Link shows the Purah Pad to the Blademaster so he can put those locations on the map. Shouldn't the Blademaster recognize the pad as looking eerily similar to the Sheikah Slate, which is what they, along with Master Kohga, looked for when they hunted Link down?
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned. No one else acknowledges the Sheikah Slate, why should they?
The Yiga Blademaster may be stupid.
Is there a lore reason the Yiga are stupid?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. The Downfall timeline was the only one where Ganon had the full Triforce, right? He'd naturally wish for immortality, which is why that's the only timeline where he keeps coming back, Castlevania-Dracula style. In both of the other timelines he dies for good shortly after losing the Triforce of Power (I guess it would make sense that it would make him immortal as long as he was able to hold on to it, while the full Triforce would make him independantly immortal).

A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.But he died in a LTTP, the master sword and silver arrows can counter any magical protection he has from the triforce.
Classic Ganon is a reincarnation of Downfall Ganon.

they're the bad guys and thus they're fools of the highest order
New theme music also a boxSometimes I have wild dreams of a Zelda spinoff that isn't Musou, but plays in a similar space of armies storming across Hyrule. Partially, it's inspired by the allies you can get in TOTK.
A game that's more open-ended, allowing elaborate traps, sneaking, quest chains to affect the terrain and factions, and so forth, but still has armies of -blins lumbering out of the gloom to dash themselves against Hyrule's walls. I feel like it could either be a disaster, or splendid.
No one else in the game acknowledges the Zonai tech as being functionally the same as the Sheikah tech, so...
It's been fun.Well, the Yiga DID kill the wife of one of the supporting characters, guess all their cruelty happens when we're not looking.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned. We're talking about their intelligence, not their capacity for cruelty.

Heart of StoneMaster Kohga. Goofiness can be contagious, you know.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I can only assume that Sooga was vaccinated against it or something then, since he spends more time with Kohga than anyone else
Heart of StoneKohga saved his life and took him in, Sooga isn't technically Sheikah. So they have some genuine loyalty to each other.
And Kohga is pretty competent at his job, he's just fighting Link.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Every friendly character that discusses the Yiga Clan takes them completely seriously. Honestly maybe the reason they don't have an in-universe reputation for being the banana obsessed goofballs that they are is that no one other than Link actually hears the goofy banana speeches and lives to tell the tale.

Mileena MadnessI occasionally think about what would happen if I got isekaied into various worlds, and since lots of them are dangerous, I try to find a place that I know from outside experience is safe and doesn't get involved in the main conflict, which can be hard in some works. As an example, in Mass Effect, the only place in the galaxy that I can think of that never gets caught up in any turmoil is Turvess, the homeworld of the Raloi, the race that made first contact between the first and second games, but then as soon as the Reapers arrived, they cut all ties with the Citadel, then destroyed all their satellites and stuff and prayed the Reapers would think they weren't advanced enough to harvest.

If it's the BOTW/TOTK Hyrule, then I'd go to either Hateno, Lurelin or Tarrey. They look like nice places to live in.
Many other incarnations of Hyrule are sparse in population, and Kakariko isn't a particularly exciting location IMO.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I mean I would be screwed if I got stuck in Termina. I would rather deal with Ganondorf in OOT and the Guardians hunting me down over the three days of the moon falling overhead.

Mileena MadnessBeen playing some more Hyrule Warriors. Almost finished the Master Quest map. I don't remember if I've mentioned this before, but Impa's weapons don't make a lick of sense.
The Giant Blade should be Fire-elemental because it's a Goron weapon (Giant's Knife/Biggoron's Sword), and the Naginata should be Darkness-elemental because it's a Sheikah weapon (Impa being a Sage of Shadow and the Sheikah being strongly associated with the Shadow element in general).
The lack of a Forest element bugs me more than a little, since there are a few characters/weapons that clearly need it (Link's Great Fairy, Lana's Spear, Skull Kid's Ocarina and possibly Zelda's Baton since Forest sometimes doubles as the Wind element), but I can't think of a good effect for it.
The question is, "Which version of Hyrule would you want to be Isekai'd to," and for me, the answer is either Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess.
That being said, I don't think I could realistically survive in either.

Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Which game would we want to be in? Hmm... Skyward Sword. Skyloft, specifically. Might be boring for players, but looks like a nice place to live.
I'd have to learn to swim, but Zora's Domain in Breath/Tears Hyrule seems pretty nice. Hateno Village or Tarrey Town would also be good choices.
I'd LIKE to say Gerudo Town (though preferably NOT during the danger times in Tears), but to do so would require extra effort for me.
I assume their souls got split up when Link killed Yuganon and classic Zelda is just Ganon having been reincarnated back into Hyrule, while Yuga was sent to Lorule's afterlife.
