The focus was always on Ocarina, Twilight and Skyward. The 3D Zeldas were always going to get more attention, and the more realistic style fits easier with the artstyle than the celshaded stuff. It's not a slight against the other games.
The weapons and costumes we got here were from the Twilight Princess pack. Of course we're only getting TP stuff from it.
The two Zeldas from the two NES games were always different people.
Hmm...
I wonder, if we kept it with the artstyle, would Zelda look good with a Tetra outfit? Link wouldn't look too different dressed like his WW counterpart, but I guess he could get the Engineer's outfit.
Just me rambling.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. The Sleeper was like a past incarnation that the Zelda from the first game was named for, right?
I think it's largely the fact that have less creative work porting TP, Oo T / MM and SS stuff to Hyrule Warriors.

If we get a sequel I hope they add in WW/PH/ST, MC, and Zelda U.
A Rito would be pretty cool, honestly.
Medli would be nifty.
But so would a lot of other characters. Zelda's got a lot of great supporting cast members that show up once and vanish and it's sad.
I sure said that!Byrne, Linebeck, Groose, and Error would all be fun.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I once heard a rumor the Subrosians were in; that'd have been cool, no?
Link in booty shorts is the best thing.
That is all.

Or hot. They do live near around a Volcano, after all.
About the only thing they really have is a Boomerang and of course, a Master Key. Could be interesting.
However, as for the rumor, the official Guidebook which has some beta stuff like old artwork for it doesn't mention this idea. I would not mind one, and maybe that Skeleton Guy from Ages?
Ganondorf's 8-bit weapon is hilarious.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Argh, I'm hating the mission which unlocks Darunia's level 3 hammer.
I have a message from another time...Ignore Ganondorf and Zelda, your army can handle them believe it or not. Focus on taking the two lower keeps, then work your way back north to take the remaining keeps while racking up toward 1200 kills.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Okay. Do I take out the Sabotage Captains when they show up? I'd hate to lose suddenly because my Allied Base had its max durability cut to 1/4.
Also, I just did the mission where you have to, as Ganondorf, defeat Ghoma, King Dodongo, and Ganon in a time limit.
That mission is extremely lenient with ranking. My time was 9:09 (51 seconds left on the clock), and my damage was 9,800. I still got A rank in both. Usually, most every mission has like 4000 as the threshold between A and B.

I have a message from another time...Wow, Yuga's pretty damn powerful.
Y'mean story-wise or as a boss?
'cause both make sense.
I have a message from another time...Story-wise.
And yay, I'm in Lorule now!
Okay, so now my biggest roadblock with Darunia's level 3 mission is toward the end. By the time I get the keeps, I've got Ganondorf, Zelda, and like 8 high-morale Moblins in my base, Midna is under constant attack, and Link is turtling.
I have a message from another time...@Darunia's Lv. 3: Darunia's roll attack can actually obliterate the Moblins if you catch them. Also, when morale-boosted Moblins show up, prioritize them. Ganondorf and Zelda can't do much, but those guys will wreck your base if you let them reach it. I still recommend ignoring Ganny and Zelda.
@Ganondorf vs. Giant Bosses: The upper two rows of the map bump the Damage Taken requirement from 4000 (10 hearts) to 10000 (25 hearts), and the "Defeat Giant Bosses!" missions involving the Imprisoned or Ganon seem to remove the time requirement entirely despite displaying it on the results.
Anyway, been trying the Twilight Princess map, and the missions are just insane. I got bellyflopped by a Moblin and lost about 12 hearts. And it wasn't even morale-boosted. Everything just does a tremendous amount of damage, and getting hit even once basically means no A-rank for you.
Also, one mission had me fighting 12 Fis at once.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Build Darunia the golden level Hover Boots, and save a full bar of magic power for the fight against Link. While in Focus Mode, you automatically break through guard.
Also, the last attack on Darunia's combo tree (I don't recall how many times you press Light, but it does end with a Heavy) will break through guard. Alternatively, you let Link attack, expose his weak point, and then use the Light, Heavy attack, which is great for breaking through those weak points. Three Light, Heavy is for either clearing keeps, or building Special Power.
If you're having trouble with the enemies, then super prioritize the scout captain: the enemies he summons are no joke.

If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. What Scout Captain? As far as I've been able to tell, there is no one enemy summoning the Moblins. The only differing troops are the Sabotage Captains early on, and the extra-special Sheild Moblin who leads the direct assault on my base.
I have a message from another time...
Thanks. Also, the Zeldas from the first two games being different people: was that a retcon or no?
