I think Tower of the Gods was my favorite dungeon in Wind Waker. It's one of the dungeons I'm looking forward to seeing again when I'm able to get the HD remake. The boss (Gohdan I think?) was especially fun (and had neat music).
Wind Waker's definitely my favorite Zelda game!
That first descent to underwater Hyrule Castle, and the pulling the Master Sword, and fighting all those enemies is definitely my favorite moment in gaming ever! Just that music![1]
Even with these awkward wings, dyed with images that seem to stay. I'm sure we can fly, on my love! 3DS Friend Code: 2809-9138-8756Fair enough. I have tried that method before, but I find the combo to be just a bit too fiddly to pull off reliably. Link has a tendency to throw it in the wrong direction, and there doesn't seem to be much time to distinguish between C2 and C3.
Well, I don't know. Maybe I'm just too used to going for the C4, that I can't quite get the timing on the earlier combos right. (Wait, it's tied to full health? That's probably it. Unless it's a devastating attacks mission, I'm bound to take at least one hit at some point)
Also: I just found out something handy for missions with more keep barriers than there are fairies. While in Focus, you take no damage from barriers. I don't know if this applies to that barrier at the end of Cia's story mode, as that one is much more powerful for plot reasons, but it worked well enough for F-2 on the master quest map.

If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Really? I find it brutally effective. At max level, the three rays from the initial swing of the C2 combo are pretty much insta-kills that travel all the way to the end of the rendering distance, and then while in the air performing the aerial followup sends out up to three horizontal sword beams in rapid succession that can be aimed in any direction.
Only problem is that mission is a no-healing mission, so if you get hit once you have no more use for the C2, and have to rely on the C3.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Oh golly.
Just played the KO map with Fi's heart container as the gold rank prize.
I got a focus KO count of 866 at last count. Although it probably helped that there were so many full magic potions lying around, that's still an impressive number.
Edit: You remember the mission on A-1 on the normal adventure map? They have the same mission one tile lower on the master quest map.
You have to get a gold rank with Cia, and using no item attacks. Yes, they still have Deku Babas. And guess what? The Imprisoned, when thrashing around on the ground, can push them around, meaning it's entire possible for them to block off the centre keep or slam you into a corner with impossible to remove poison gas.

If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. You know, the way the hippo behaved in the artist's studio in Links Awakening never made any sense to me until I learned she was actually modeling.
Ditto the way the Mermaid switches spots when you dive next to her before you give her the pearl necklace. It was a bra in the Japanese version. Hee-hee.
I wonder if any other Zelda games had bizarre kinda sexual, kinda not moments omitted from their American releases?
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.After 85 hours of struggles, Zant's bad moveset, 2P cheesing, punching Argoroks in the face, killing Ganon with almost every character somehow, and more potions than you can think of...I've completed everything in Hyrule Warriors basic game.
Now I need to take a break before I start the Master Quest stuff, but I got Cia, Volga and Wizzro prepared for when I return.
For what it's worth, Wizzro has the easiest Level 3 weapon mission. By, like, a lot.
Song of the SirensSo...
I might have made a◊ thing for the holiday.◊

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobGhirahim's insanity aside, Fi, hands tend to be useful.
I have a message from another time...Fi might not have arms in her human form. Ghirahim still has arms in his sword spirit form, after all.
Song of the SirensWhy would she need hands when she has her very own slave named Scrapper?

One Strip! One Strip!Seriously, fuck Scrapper. At least the chose a good name for him.

Did they forget to test this or something? These things do ridiculous damage, they move slightly slower than a golden Cucco, and are more persistent than movie monsters.
Trying to A-Rank this with Ghirahim was a nightmare.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Seems like these kinds of missions are actually intended to be played with a second player. My brother and I played that mission lately, and we had a pretty easy time. Though, if they really intended it to be like that, that's really unfair for those who don't have the chance to play games with other people.
I doubt that's what they intended. It's just that The Power of Friendship is cheating.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyI think it was the same in Pirate Warriors 2 too. The battles seemed a lot easier when my girlfriend and I were playing them together than when I was alone. The only reason having a friend helps seems to be due to the series usually giving you only one objective at a time to tackle (I assume; I'm not sure if HW changes the formula up a bit), so you rarely need to devote as much effort as you'd usually need to when alone, especially if you split up.
I still haven't gotten the 700 enemy Ghirahim battle A rank yet, and I like playing Ghirahim.
But at least playing other missions means that you can only get better. And it's a good thing that the Master Quest can give you even better weapons...
I'm still having trouble with Agitha. All of her attacks leave her wide open and the only way to get in good damage is with her bug attacks that take so long to start up. I still can't get her level 3 parasol...
Lana's Summoning Gate is hard too, the last attack where she jumps up into that sphere always leaves her open so I try to stop short from doing it, but I miss out on extra damage.
I just don't like when warriors jump. You can't guard or dodge when you're jumping. Not like in Super Smash Bros...
I'd been having trouble with that level earlier, and the people 'round here gave me some helpful advice that I remember... some of? So the green beetle does lightning damage rather than light and the Dinolfos resist light, so the recommended strategy was to basically kite the crowds of Dinolfos by keeping them as close to all on one side as you can and starting each beetle summoning while they're still in the air. I found having a "Lightning+" on the parasol helpful, too.
I admittedly just cheesed that mission by doing it two-player and putting Agitha on the Hookshot ledge, then having my level 99 Link wreck everything.
Granted, fewer enemies spawn in two-player, so it's harder to reach the 1200 kill threshold in time.

I completed the Tower of the Gods in Wind Waker last night. Holy crap, that was fun but brutal. And I need practice with the bow. There was something really satisfying about testing out the Master Sword by cutting a swath through an entire room filled with Darknuts and Moblins.
